Summit of The Gods seems too real for any novel/manga/movie. When I first read it years ago, I thought almost everything was a completely true story, and recent Netflix made a beautiful adaption, that made me go back and re-read this critically underrated manga. I even felt like I had to learn more after re-reading the manga, so I read the original novel by Baku Yumemakura. I needed even more, so I went searching through past articles to attempt to find some sort of resemblance if the climbs, the people, inspirations, anything...
But, all I can tell you is that the original author of the Novel
...
said that no part of this manga was based on true events. But, I promise whatever adaption you pick up of this story, like me you will believe it was true.

This is 100% worth a watch, but you shouldn't follow someone elses word on it, I wouldn't want to drag you down my path.
Anyways besides that here is a more detailed synapses of this show.
I rated the story an 8, simply because the story is simple. The MC is a representation of life moving on with a new age, even tho he isnt one.
I gave the art an 8, because I always liked the art from stuff like Cowboy Bebop, Air Gear, Black Lagoon. Its a very serious art style at the end of the day, it almost as if we imagine the hardships
...
of life to look like this when looking back on it all.
The sound is alright, you know classic to this art style.
Characters were fine, a couple were good. However there are 6 characters that seem out of place, but in the end you realize why they were there.

Let me start off by saying, I love anatomy!!! One of my favorite things in the world is the study of the human body, and how it works.
The story is really good, the show uses characters which are simple, and defines everything in a simple yet accurate way, so you can fully understand what goes on. They make it easy for you to keep track of whats happening even if your not interested in the backstory of how everything works.
The art is good, its no godlike art style, but its kind of like above middle class.
Sound idk the sounds are made.
Characters are cool, but they
...
try to add like a love interest thing with some of the main important cells, and tbh it kind of ruins it for someone who wants to learn, but its good for people who do not just watch the history channel for fun.
Enjoyment, I enjoyed it.
Overall would recommend to anyone who likes science, would recommend to anyone taking a science class such as Chemisty/Anatomy/Forensics, would maybe recommend it if you just like learning, and would probably still recommend it even if you vomit at the fact that some crazy anime stuff is happening inside you.

So I never watched this because its one of those animes where you love it or hate it, and I can see why.
For starters lets talk about the story, its good dont get me wrong, but ive read the manga, and it could of been better. That aside how they presented it, I mean its kind of different from animes like Naruto, or an anime where the op is omnipatant in a sense, where its like one guy can posses skill, and yes he has the power to be the king, but everyone before, and after him are just as suitable as him, its just
...
his willpower/friendship/life really pushes him past everyone else. But the anime ends on episode 25 so yeah that sucks, and there will probably never be a season two.
--- Story 7/10, just left me hanging, but its not anyones fault really, things like this happen.
Art, omg I hate this art style, but it fits this show perfectly, rollerblading kids wouldn't look good if it had a very smooth art style, just imagine this show having these smooth characters, the air treck animations would just look stupid.
--- Art 9/10, I may not like it, but the show wouldnt have caught me if it didnt use this style of animation.
Sound, sorry idc about sound, lets talk about characters. I like the op, the typical hey im what appears to be a idiot, but im actually super hard working and motivated guy. His friends are also pretty interesting considering they kind of stand out more to me then the op himself, honestly idk if its just me, but I really noticed Itsuki Minami's friends more then I did him.
--- Characters 9/10, eh they some cool dudes, I dont think you can really hate any of them.
Overall hey it was a cool ride, its just so intresting how this anime doesnt seem popular with others, to each there own. But would I recommend this to everyone reading this, well YES, although it may be unfinished art, its art, and if I could get one person to watch Air Gear, well then that would be pretty cool, because it has potential, and I think it is really inspiring, and I cherish brief shows like this, more then long term shows that just are like here is what were giving you, now you know everything, about this universe.
