"A Successful Adaptation"

I've read the manga way back in 2019 when a friend of mine recommended it to me. I knew from the beginning that if this manga was adopted into an anime it will be amazing. 3 years later and yes my hunch was right it became the "suprise success" release of fall 2022.

In short, the anime gives an important message to introverted people out there, that coming out of your comfort zone may change the pace or the direction of your life. The animations were amazing Cloverworks surely has to be commended, The different art styles used in some sequences are ... so unique and a breath of fresh air every episode. I'll slightly compare it to a all-time favorite classic of mine in terms of story. (Probably you know what music/slice of life anime that is.)

The same with the manga It has problems in pacing, The original Music that were in the anime were 10/10 bangers from the opening song, the insert songs and of course the ending songs all of them were amazing and will make you play it on repeat on your spotify's. The characters all blend together in harmony to create good comedy and give amazing humor to the audience.

"PEAK MODERN ROMANCE ANIME"

As a Manga reader of the series, I've got to commend A1 Pictures for masterfully animating the greatest arc of this series. "This review will be short and somewhat has spoilers."

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Ultra Romantic is so called the "Peak" out of the three seasons that came out. Character build up for each student council member was well written that most of its viewers can connect to what they feel and what they want to portray to us. The pace of the season was perfect since it was true to the source material which is the manga. ... This anime will be an all time classic as of writing this right now my head is totally blank since its already perfect.

"HEARTWARMING AND WHOLESOMENESS FROM START TO FINISH"


Trying to write this review to be short and spoiler-free as possible. First of all, from a person who has read the manga before the series was animated I'd commend Cloverworks for an amazing job animating the series they caught the manga's art style and took it to another level.

The story revolves around Akebi a middle-schooler who grew up in a rural part of Japan, her goal was to have lots of friends since she was the only student in her elementary school. To make it simple it's 12 episodes of diabetic yuri-some wholesomeness and its full of ... heartwarming moments that make you comfortable watching it and it is complemented with superb animation Cloverworks showcased for the viewers.

Following Akebi's journey of making friends and her interactions with the people around her makes you want to have a conversation and hang out with her as well. Would I recommend the series?. Yes, especially for those slice of life enthusiast just like me.

IF YOU'RE TIRED OF THE HIGH SCHOOL ROMANCE SETTING THIS IS FOR YOU.

First of all, I know some of you had read the manga and some of you watched this because of the disappointment (Spoiler) that "Wotakoi" won't have a second season after those post-credit scenes from the OVA. Or maybe some of you got interested and tried to watch this series. (Some spoilers may be in this short review).

Ok let me make this nice and short. "Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi" or in English Titled "My Senpai is Annoying" is a wholesome, cute and cheesy romance anime that is set in a sales ... office setting. All of the characters in this anime are lovable and somewhat relatable if you're in the line of office work. The story between Igarashi and Takeda is fine as it is, some may get weirded out because of their height difference but I see no problem with it, but what got me hooked watching thru the series are the interactions between Kazama and Sakurai.I mean it's your typical blind in love for each other yet it's a very effective counter-part with the story of Igarashi and Takeda, this one of those anime's that had better side stories than the main coupleship story.

Plus it's refreshing since it's very uncommon to see a romance anime that is set in a work life/adulthood style.

THIS ANIME IS A GACHA GAME PROMOTION. "There may be some spoilers in this short review".


I can't remember when the anime was announced but when I learned that Madhouse and MAPPA will be collaborating on it I was a bit hyped and later knowing that it was an upcoming gacha game I had thoughts of giving it a shot to watch it.

Let me put it nice and short, The pilot episode showed a lot of promise, it showed the base plot of a world without music and the so-called Musicarts saved the world from destruction from D2's. I mean it started really fine not until ... the next few episodes where it left a big hole and a lot of question marks story-wise, let me give an example. Who was the whistleblower on why the D2's appeared is it Takt's Dad? and What is Cossette's connection to the musicarts? or in General why is Cossette the only one turned into a musicart in her family? or maybe I'm not paying that much attention to the story.

It felt like the story was rushed especially midway thru the series and somehow I understand why, BECAUSE ITS A 24min GACHA GAME ADVERTISEMENT maybe if we play the game the story will be clearer I guess. the only thing likable here is the musical score, the animation and some of its characters.

Im posting this review because of one reason.


THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE BEST VERSION OF LOVE LIVE. Character's were very well made, the music is fire not to mention the OP and ED were absolute bangers. I've gotta give credit to the animation staff. CG Improved so hard it was so enjoyable to watch and it feels good in the eye.

Storywise it has the elements of Love live, MC loves to sing started an idol group in a small number, has a goofy member and of course, the student council president is also a member of the group. Yeah did I ... mention the school is closing down because of low new student applications therefore the group will join love live to gain popularity and save their school.

Anyways as I said its the best version of love live since the original with μ's.
