Imagine there was this beast of a sportsman, he'd easily rip through teams, one by one, no help and he was an ace at every sport you can think of. Now think of this, can you name a person you know who can do that in real life? No? I thought so. When it comes to sports, teamwork and dedication is key and Haikyuu!! presents that fact perfectly.
Story: 8/10
At the beginning of this anime, I wasn't really into it. Maybe it was cause I'm not a really big fan of volleyball or maybe cause I didn't really like the rival idea (despite the fact that
...
there's a rival in almost every sports anime.) However I just wasn't enjoying it. I dropped it for a few months then I finally returned to give it another shot. I was surprised, was this the same anime I was watching and dropped months ago? Cause to me it was much more different. Anyways, back to the story.
It's your typical sports story, two rivals who try their best to outplay each other but are forced by the team captain to work alongside each other. The team then strive to win some sort of championship. We see the team's strong sense of camaraderie develop as each episodes passes and soon we begin to feel attached to it. However with this anime, each match felt intense, it felt as if there was no guarantee that the team would win, it kept me wanting more. I want go into too much detail into the story however I'll just tell you this:
This anime has changed my view on volleyball.
Art: 7/10:
The art in this anime was very pleasing to look at. There were some scenes where the main character, Hinata, jumps to slam the ball past the net and the way the studio handles those moments are just very beautiful in my opinion. You could feel the energy and power he's putting into that spike!
Sound: 8/10:
I absolutely loved the openings to this anime, the second opening being my favorite one. The soundtrack in this anime is also very... what's the word.. dutiable for this type of anime. An intense and upbeat style for intense moments and slow and calming music for sad moments. This anime soundtrack has music for almost every feeling the human can experience (except the naughty ones, stop drooling you perv.)
Character: 9/10:
Cliche characters with a twist. I know I'm contradicting myself but hear me out! The characters in Haikyuu behave how you expect to behave like however as the anime progresses, we begin to see them develop and break free and really change into their own little unique character. The cast of Haikyuu are really a fun and wacky bunch to watch, the way they interact with each other (Hinata and Kageyama especially) leaves a smile on my face.
Overall: 9/10:
This anime was a fun ride, at the start I was turned off however the more I watched, the more I began to see how good this anime actually is. I recommend it to any sports fan out there, if you're looking to laugh, cry and laugh some more, this anime is for you.

(Beware, spoilerz)
Oh boy, part 5.
I'm actually a fan of this part, despite it being one of the most controversial of Jojo, one half loving it and the other completely disliking it. This is not my favorite part however it still was a pretty great part in my eyes. Now anyways, enough of me talking, let's jump right into the review!
Story 7/10:
"I, Girono Giovanna, have a dream!"
...
Not the best story but nor is it a pretty bad story either! The part's main character is Girono Giovanna (Girono being Italian for day), this man, Girono, has a dream to become a Gang-star! Pretty fab, right? Not only that, he's also the son of DIO, DIO has Johnathan's body, so Giorno can be seen as a Joestar. Bearing the blood of a Brando, Girono has the spirit of a Joestar. Giorno soon joins the gang, Passione, joining Bruno Buccelati's group. The group are then entrusted to help escort the boss's daughter to her father and so, their adventure begin.
Now, do you see some similarities here? A group, travelling around the country, fighting enemies on their way, until finally meeting up with the big boss for a epic boss battle finale. Doesn't this sound like... Stardust Crusaders? Now that you mention, it kinda does... BUT who cares!? Despite the two parts roughly having the same story line, the two parts are both unique and both their stories are an enjoyable read. (Providing you find a decent English translation or take Japanese classes)
The reason I gave the story a 7 was because I really didn't... enjoy the ending. It was good and had an incredible boss fight, but the end was done too quickly in my opinion.
Art: 10/10:
Bruh. Of course I'd give this a 10, Jojo art is love, Jojo art is life. Araki's style and creativity always makes for an enjoyable read. Seeing the characters pull off amazing poses or seeing some of the fight scenes is always such a... golden experience. (I'm sorry.) The art style of this manga is just so amazing that I can't give it any lower than a 10.
Characters: 8/10:
One of the best cast of characters in this part. Despite one of them being cut off due to their overpowered stand ability (Fugo), this part really had a great set of characters. Girono's personality fades as the part progresses, at the beginning was a pretty cocky taxi driver however as I read on, Bruno took charge of the series whilst Giorno have him a great helping hand. It was fun seeing how these characters react to all the crazy situations they go themselves in.
Enjoyment: 9/10:
It was a great part. In my opinion, this part had the best, if not, one of the best fights in the whole series.Keeping me at the edge of my seat, wondering how they would be able to get out of the bizarre situations they find themselves in.
Also, the posing here was on point. (:p)
I would give this part a 10 for enjoyment however I'd be lying to myself. It's a great part, but there are so many things preventing me from giving it a 10. The ending, the hard to find scans, Giorno's dull personality etc.
So yea, a pretty gewd part.
Overall:
8/10 from me. Was debating to put it at 9 but decided to drop it a little down to 8. 8 is still a pretty great score and Vento Auero is my top three Jojo parts.

First Review, be gentle guise.
Space Dandy is a really unique series, coming from the creators of Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop, it indeed is a wacky and amazing series. It's also one of those rare series where I enjoyed the Dub more than the Sub.
Story: 7/10
The story tends to change with each episode, each episode following a bizarre story. It's either getting chased by booby monsters or getting stuck in an island with a weird guy with a ukulele. The stories weren't bad at all and I found myself laughing at the end of each episode. If the stories followed a concrete storyline with no
...
changes, maybe this would be higher on my list but I suppose these crazy story lines are what make Space Dandy... Dandy?
Art: 8/10
Oh boy, the art in some/most of these episodes were amazing. There were some episodes where the studio experimented with different styles but still, those experiments were very enjoyable to watch. There were these two particular episodes (The Limbo and the fishing one, won't go into too much detail or I'll be entering Spoiler zone) where the animation was top notch. They really were a treat for the eyes.
Sound: 10/10
The music here is just...perfect for the series. The Funky/Jazzy soundtrack was very enjoyable and were just a perfect choice for this kind of sci-fi theme. The soundtrack really enhanced the experience and is one of the main reasons why Space Dandy got such a high rating from me.
Overall: 9/10
If felt as if the ending was a bit rushed for me however it still was one hell of a dandy ride. An amazing series.
