If Bochii was an overpowered magical witch in a Spy x Family scenario.
Overall super cute manga, light power fantasy, a bit of mystery and a bit of slice of life.
The story progression is a bit slow, but it's cute.
The expressions in the manga are really well drawn.
The story is about a magical, school, detective, nobles, bodyguard, social anxiety, and comedy.
Every Character has a nice place to help with the main character's personality building.
The show is pretty wholesome. You should read if you like cute magical fantasy with expressive drawings.
You should not watch if u don't like slow-paced shows with a main character who isn't ... competent.
This manga is NOT a manga that displays flashy magical art or fight scenes.



In chapter 9, she gave the Professor the Fibonacci sequence in piggies.

A Mystery creepy village story mixed with a funny comedic show.
The two main characters Dali and Migi even tho they are characters, express very humanistic traits, every scene gives humour, but is essential to the plot even if you don't realise it.
Every scene solves existing questions, yet brings about more questions, e.g what happen to mi-chan?
And don't get time started on EP 8, where originally I didn't like Eiji, But after he realises that he was a murder, keep in mind that he was only like 6 years old when he murdered the mother.
His button was taken by the mother, and ... then found with Dali and Migi, then he realises, that he killed their mother. He feels guilt, repent, he becomes depressed even, It shows such humanistic traits.
And then he sacrifices himself for the twins, and dies, repaying the sins he owes to the twins, all while the show, shows, and not tell. None of these were spoken. |
From there, I felt so sad for Eiji , the antagonist who I didn't like earlier, He was really trying his best.
The story written by the author of Sakamoto-kun another masterpiece, Unfortunately the author passed away due to cancer :(. The show is hidden behind so many layers and really requires you to sit through the entire show. 10/10 Brilliant story writing, funny humor.

The meme references are so good.
The comedy hits just right.
The 4th wall breaks are quite funny too.
The characters are cute and have their own unique personalities.
The story progression is sutle but its a cgdct show plus sort of slice of life so thats not its main aspect.
The animation is stunning and drawn frame by frame for a crowd-funded animation.
As for character, for example, Yurine is a very cute character while it contrasts her funny sadistic pleasures from torturing jashin-chan or jashin-chan's cute and charming nature contrasts her funny mischievous attitude puts a great laugh when in specific parts.
Some of the references require you to watch ... the previous seasons.
There are also a lot of hidden references or world-building hidden around which are hard to spot on your first watch if you are not so familiar with the references but it makes me happy to see references and small but sutle world buildings. I would love to explain but that goes into spoiler territory so I cant.
Jashin-chan Drop kick is an underrated show that i hope gets more popularity!
