Never expect anything from anything,you will always end up disappointed.
At least that is what happened with this anime,after a strong first episode everything seemed to go down hill up till the final episodes where the whole trainwreck was explained in a completely trainwreck manner.
This will be a short review so don't expect from this either xD.
I came to this anime with high hopes of a plot-twist anime but in the end i received an anime which couldn't decide its pacing,had decent characters,had a completely pathetic story and spent too much time in trying to be something like Another.And don't even talk about the "ending" or

Elfen Lied: An anime famous for basically blood and tits.I came to this anime expecting big things and kept in mind that this was a relatively old anime but as you will understand by reading what i have to say it was an utter disappointment.
Story: 2/10 Was there a story?There was PLOT but I'm not sure there was any actual plot.Ok we have a girl with horns who goes around killing people and she loses her memory and stuff but still it felt like the story was stuck at one point and it refused to move on.This flaw was later covered by the last 2 episodes ...

This is not just any anime,it is a work of art and thus we must patent it I was getting tired of watching harems and wanted to try a anime that would make me come back for every episode. Then i stumbled across this gem. Containing action,romamce(a bit atleast) and BLOOD(REDBLOOD,sorry bloodlust problems). Moreover it balanced it balnced the story via the arcs and it kept me at the edge of my seat and made me use my head to understand all the plot points.And i proudly say that i dont remember the names of characters in any anime but this anime was so immersive ... |
