There were too many strong and weak points of this story.
I think the story overall was not good. The main duo Amamiya and especially Samidare were not likeable. There were too many panty flashs.
But the supporting characters were carrying the story. There were many well written and drawn side characters. Since this is a manga I will give credit to the author for his marvelous drawings.
Big brother Shinonome was the best character in this manga. Animus seemed like an interesting character at start but it turned out his orijin story wasn't well written. Akitani Inachika was a well written but a rushed character. Kusakabe ... Tarou was a good character and we saw another self sacrifice with him. Character development of Sorano Hanako was nice. Hakudou Yayoi was adorable. Akane Taiyou was well written. Maimakterion was probably the deepest character in the story. Anima was filler for me. Shimaki Hyou was a decent guy. Noi and some of the other animals were well written as well.
All in all none of them was perfect. The story certainly wasn't either. It couldn't reach any of my expectations. The ending was obvious.
Even though none of the characters was perfect, the bond between them was perfect. The idea of friendship, even though it is cheesy, was well written. How to overcome despair with the good people around you, was well portrayed.
Even though the main story wasn't exhilarating enough, mangaka gave me something I didn't know I was searching for. The story was really mid though. Thank you Mizukami Satoshisan. Your side characters will be remembered by me.

I wouldn't call Zom 100 as an anime. It was something else for me. Maybe it was a life motto, or maybe a modern society criticism.

Normally, in an anime, I expect some certain qualities. It may have an exciting and cunning plot which will surprise me. Or it may have at least one very good written character and some serious drama which I can relate. Or if I'm only watching a comedy anime I only expect to laugh without breathing. Usually if I don't see any of those, I don't like the anime. But Zom 100 is somehow different.

We don't quite have those qualities in ... Zom 100. It never gets really exciting. It doesn't make me cry neither from sadness nor from hilariousness. As an anime, it unfortunately didn't left a big impact on me.
While the main crew is fun to hang around, the plot didn't usually satisfies. Which wouldn't be a problem if Zom 100 was just a comedy anime. But it wasn't. I can't really give a good rating to an anime with a mid plot, no matter how much I want to.

So let's stop considering it as an anime. What I really liked about Zom 100 is how it deals with modern society problems. Working in bad conditions is as bad as being unemployed. But most people in modern age are in one of those two groups. Most people are pushed to work for bad jobs for small salaries. So maybe quitting might be better if you are sure you hate it. But people feel keeping the status quo is easier. They couldn't find the courage to resign. And it just keeps getting worse until we turn into Zombies. The message here is very clear and neat.

Although being an unemployed for a long time is also terrible if you don't have lots of money. You tend to start isolating from the society like Higurashi. Of course Higurashi is a very bad written character. I don't think the unemployed were represented fairly here.

I think he source material is not good enough. That's why the production studio couldn't do a better anime. They did a very good job animating. You don't see a lot of anime rated higher than it's manga. They did very good opening themes. Which made the watching process much more fun. Especially I love that metro scene in the intro, the one zombies mindlessly tapping their cellphones. It is such a beautiful reference.

So finally as an anime my rating has to be 5. If I give it more than that it won't be fair to other animes I judged in the past.
But if I could consider it something else than an anime I would rate it much more higher. You should definitely watch it to tell me how wrong I am!

Ok, so i have started this one for its high point on MAL. I watched the first episode and cryed like a baby. But i knew that after the first episode it would get worse. I lived the same experience in Kingdom anime. As i thought it wouldn't keep the awesomeness in the next few episodes. I have waited for a bad episode to come, to stop watching the series. But in every episode there was at least one scene that inspired me. Even though March was not very likable for me, not someone i can relate to, i ... have kept my patience. And at the end it payed off.

March's death was pretty touching and Parona trying to kill herself, the emotions was very well conveyed. After that episode i never think about stop watching the anime again.

Even though the plot is predictable, even when you know Fushi's best friends will always die, the details made all the difference. Afterall life is a journey and everyone will die eventually but that does not mean that life is meaningless. As life is as meaningful as you thought it would, a story is also as meaning as you thought it would.

Anyway, after Gugu's death i cryied like a baby a second time and it was probably more emotional than the first episode. Also the story was getting more interested with the intriguing nemesis.

At first i thought i couldn't like an anime with only one main character. But the side charachters always live inside Fushi's heart. They actually never leave the anime. So this plot is actually insanely wild. At the end i realised that this anime has everything i want. I really wasn't expecting anything even closer to this quality. Even after the first episode i could have never imagined the anime would get to this point. And we are actually only at the start of the anime. I am so excited for the rest. Probably after the season finale i will continue with the manga. I hope there is enough material to satisfy my hunger, although i don't think it is possible to satiate myself.

The animation and musics are quite good as well. So i want to end my review with, Pink Blood, Pink Blood, Pink Bloooooooooood!

The beginning and the first half of Jujutsu Kaisen was very promising, emotionally attachable and exciting, the second half was predictable and boring. There was nothing special about the second half. They could have just cut the arc out of the storyline, but i also have doubts about the next arcs. There aren't any strong antagonist, no real competition. Good guys wins motto continues almost all the time.

Yoshino was the only exception. I wasn't expecting him to die and it might have been a great character development to Itadori. But his death was wasted. Itadori almost never ever ... think about him again and we didn't get any emotional conflict whatsoever. After the end of the first season he was already forgotten.

The story lacks continuation. It changes like a bag flying in the wind. Sukuna is probably the only one who can really challenge them seriously but the story continues without him. He will probably be the final boss or something and until that point everything will be dull.

There are great character design and animation. Jujutsu still has great potential. But it needs so much more emotional depth. Also i should point out that some of the philosophical thoughts characters discuss about are something i really appreciate.

5 is not a bad rating from my evaluation. It is probably more than this story deserves. I am not a hater. I just don't want to see it waste it's potential.
