Senselessness and being left in limbo were two things this coming-of-age manga gave me. Definitely one of the few mangas out there that would be worth your time, don't drop after reading 4-5 chapters. I have seen some of my friends do that and it was sad because I felt they had missed out on good stuff.
So many things happened in just a few hours of reading this. I saw some people being disappointed in how this manga ended, but I think it was the most satisfying ending I had ever seen.
The flower thing is very significant to the story and eerily depicts ... the abyss of the human psyche.
The characters' personalities were all interesting in their own ways.
The manga pacing was so sudden that it surprised me and made me wish they had just stayed as high schoolers until the very end.
Overall, it was a bittersweet experience for struggling youths, the constant search for meaning in living and how innocence is taken away on an impulse, and it definitely gets better as the story progresses.
