DEFINITELY the strongest of all the seasons. A lot of non kengan fans (aswell as many kengan fans) were pretty dissapointed with the degree of CGI used in the first seasons outside of the peak fights.
If you're one of those people, trust me when i say, 'it gets better'. Not only is the last season by far the greatest one for plot reasons, it also carries some of the most exciting fights you'll see in all of the series. Apart from the show having fewer frames and being less animated than the first season, the characters and plot are still absolute peak. Although the animation can get pretty boring at times, especially in the earlier episodes, the peaks absolutely make up for it. The animation in certain moments is absolutely amazing, and rivals some of the most beautiful animes out there.
You can tell the animators really *do* know how to go all out, but just didn't have the time and money to make something extraordinary. The best sports anime out there IMO, but with some more love it could be top 25 OAT. |
