Directionless: The anime starts off strong with introductions to Yohane and friends, beautiful artstyle for the animation, and great music. Then comes the middle of the show where each episode just felt like time filler for the next song that will be performed and the main antagonistic force at play is completely forgotten about so much so that the show felt like it was dragging. Fantasy setting? Very underutilized. World building? Not much of it. What danger is there? Just a few deer in 2 eps... While the final episodes finally turned the gears for something to happen in the show, the emotional parts fall

PDP Season 2
Expected to be an improvement from season 1’s formulaic format which it kinda did in some ways. There’s an actual ‘story’ now and let characters interact via a subunit approach. Unfortunately two of the sub unit stories were very underdeveloped and had no reason for them to be formed in the first place. The emotional notes this anime tries to hit ultimately fall flat due to plot convenience, one note side characters that’s just a plot device and nothing more, and changing characters like Shioriko for the worst and any of Yu’s and/or Setsuna’s struggles just being fixed in 1 minute just feeling ...

This isn't a movie...its basically an animated bang dream live concert from the very beginning to end so if you're only a fan of the 2.5D girls you might not enjoy it because theres little substance to see here.....if you like watching delayed viewings/recordings of bang dream concerts this film is basically that but in 3D cg form so you might enjoy it (bring some KB's and pop some UO's)....the animation is basically the same as season 2 of the anime with no up in quality in the cg models to see; theres still some stiff moments here and there; cg model movement still isn't

If you're a fan of Bang dream (like me) you'll enjoy this anime since it has cute moments and decent character interactions but to people new to the franchise I feel this anime isnt going to be for you. It's going to feel like the anime is trying to sell you a brand and there isnt going to be much character development or story to keep you interesting if you're here for that. I think the use of cg is wonderful and the band performances are great. I recommend not to see the first season because the animation and the use of cg there is
