This is a short and sweet manga that cuts out all the nonsense seen in traditional rom-coms. The last panel of Chapter 2 describes the story as a "love comedy with zero misunderstandings".
The story sets itself apart through the use of its protagonist. While mainstream rom-com protagonists are often romantically clumsy or dense, Naoya Sasahara is the opposite. Sasahara understands the intentions of others and has a mind-reading ability to supplement his intuition.

In the first 11 chapters, the story resembles a 'feel good' slice-of-life manga. The pacing is on the slower side of the spectrum.
