For more intense fans and talented people may find this anime somewhat undermining and incomplete. The swift from seasons to the movie could be seen as rushed for a lot of people. But after watching the whole series for more than 15 time. I still cry and get emotion during the " Tomoya is mine" part. Some people say that there was no romantic development between Tomoya and Magumi before this movie but when you truly know Magumi, You can see the work or somthing like that that she was putting from as back as season 1.

me being an introverted nerd who will always dream to have a life like Tomoya but I think that was what the creator wanted. To make lazy, boring nerds like us to skip a heartbeat.
I read a review that said the other two girls were far more better and I think that is somehow right. They are talented, interesting, and they had a far more impacted Tomoya then Magumi but from Tomoya's view he loved Eriri since childhood but as they grew Eriri got somewhat distint, she was more talented, she was making a name as a genius but Tomo was still a basic otaku ( In his eyes). For everyone else he was also a genius in someway but to himself he was just a odinary boy. Personally, I think Tomo would always see the Geniuses a level above from himself, so he was never going to be in any love relation with them. He was a true fan of them and their products.
But in all this he found a odinary one just like him, who don't have any talents but is willing to learn and try for our MC. She learning to script I thing was a major point in their love story. She showing that how much boring she is, she will do her best to help Tomo achieve his goal. Other girl may also be working in the same circle as first but they were always their to promote themselves. It was the proper thing to do, make yourself better. So, after they left the circle Tomo conflicting with his feeling went all in with the one that will not drift on her own path but will do everything for Tomo.
Like Utaha senpai discribed, Magumi is a greedy bitch and nerd like possasive greedy bitch that will do enerything for their man. I may not be a Otaku in the same level as Tomo but I was in love with Magumi from dayone even before knowing anything what was going to happen.
I know any logical person will call this a massive BS but I thing that what the author was tryna tell us: " It may be BS for everyone else but this is how I the author want the MC to be loved" and I totally get him.
