Mo Dao Zu Shi
add

Both are great shows that revolve around drama, tragedy, action, love, hate, and even the occasional comedy. While Mo Dao Zu Shi has more visually stunning graphics and action fight scenes Hakouki revolves around character development. Both have supernatural aspects that have zombies/ghost or vampires/demons... same thing different shape. They are completely two different shows but while watching Mo Dao Zu Shi I was constantly thinking of Hakouki. To all those fujoshi (or fudanshi) I will say Mo Dao Zu Shi does have some boys love aspect to it while Hakouki is a reverse harem.

Both have similar genre's where there are two worlds one with demons and one with humans. Main female leads has extraordinary powers. Both shows are confusing and don't make sense and may take a rewatch to understand them both.

Totsukuni no Shoujo
add

Both are similar anime genre's where it has it's character that can't touch the girl in fear for pain or disappearing. Yet both characters love each other and want to touch one another but they endure to keep one another safe. I would highly recommend both shows for a teary touchy feely show.

Both are dreary animes that include drama, suspense, thriller, action, supernatural, mystery, darkness, and both main characters have white hair. If you like dark depressing anime I would recommend both shows!

Inu x Boku SS
add

Both feature similarities between Japanese belief about gods and demons, but mainly demons. As InuxBoku SS includes protecting in a servant/master relationship Yozakura Quartet on the other hand only includes protection of their city. Both have very unique characters that are disguised as human but are in reality another form of demon. I would recommend both animes are good, even though the Yozakura Quartet doesn't make much sense.

Sankarea
add

While ef - a tale of melodies has mainly the love story and the drama genres, Sankarea can't be complete without its zombies. Even though the anime are not similar in terms if the context of their story, I can only point out the likeness of two characters from each of the anime. That is Yuuko (from ef - a tale of melodies/memories) and Rea Sanka (from Sankara). I don't want to spoil any of the details, but let me just hint out that both grew up the same way. Either way, both are excellent anime. Enjoy.

Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom
add

Katekyo Hitman Reborn portrays mafia, hitman, comedy, supernatural, and action in the story genre. While Phantom has the mafia/hitman quality, the series has almost little to no comedy with a huge amount drama/tragedy. I would only recommend the two if you are into the mafia type anime, even though both series are excellent! Huge difference between the two series is the main characters. Tsuna from Katekyo Hitman Reborn appears weak and hopeless many times throughout the show. On the other hand Zwie from Phantom Requiem appears cool, strong, and cold-hearted = the perfect hitman.

Accel World
add

Casshern Sins and Accel world have both characteristics of humans, robots, and fighting. Yet both are completely different in story. Both have robots and fighting in another world-like place, yet Casshern Sins is more of the futuristic apocalyptic type, Accel World is more of the futuristic happy ending type . Accel World has more chicks while Casshern sins is sad and lonely. Either way both animes made me anticipated to see the next episode leaving me wanting more.

While Kiniro no Corda expresses a music theme with some magic, Princess Tutu expresses a dancing theme with more magic. Even though the stories are completely different Princess Tutu has classical music even though it's more fantasy genre.
