The simple truth is you know what you are getting into with this anime. I would say Outbreak Company is in the higher tiers of unique isekai anime, it just has one big problem, and that is the last 2 episodes ruining the logic of the story.
The problem:
-Japan finds another world through a small portal
-So they decide to peacefully export their 'otaku culture' of anime and games to this other world's empire
-Main Character helps to get this country addicted to all things otaku
-MC finds out that Japan wants to use the culture trade to be able to get natural resources
-MC freaks out, because apparently getting

Alright, I know what you're thinking, this anime is awful. The concept is amazing, but the character is in every meaning of the phrase, OP. If they limited his power slightly he would have been more interesting.
BUT! If you stick with this anime, and you learn to laugh at the ridiculousness instead of agonize how he fixes every problem instantly, it is a fun anime. Its funny to see Touya instantly kill 100 enemies, then heal 100 allies. They hardcore embrace the Harem anime theme fitting him to many wives at once, and its fun to see him get the attention of many cute ... |
