This show reminds me of the great days when I didn't have to worry about taxes, where to hide the body, tracing the holes in the wall, and ordering McD burgers without pickes only to get mountains of them after. We were growing up watching something not overly dark, lots of comedy, and a protagonist that's lovable and make you cheer with his effort first, thinking second attitude!

There's genuine progression of the MC and it makes you fantasize about becoming a spy and arming your house or apartment with 800 lethal traps. I also started to poison my own food to build up immunities!

It's a ... breath of fresh air we haven't been able to breathe in a while.

It's simple, fun, and honestly bring up the warm fuzzies after a long day

This is the hidden gem of the Spring and Summer

Makes me wish I had a psychotic brother in law... But my wife's an only child so that's out 😭

Not for the critics, but for the people.

This show will be torn apart by people who look for the "perfect" show to satisfy their sophisticated taste buds.

HOWEVER

For the hard working individual who comes home after a 10 hour shift and wants to escape reality and be left with a happy story that energizes them for the next day, this is it. I cannot stress how many times Fairy Tail has boosted my mood from mental and physical exhaustion.

Those who are criticizing the show for the lack of plot or typical shonen tropes are missing the entire intent of the author and the team. ... They simply forced their own preferences onto a show that doesn't cater to them are trying to cancel it by convincing others to steer clear. This show is defs meant for the hardworking class 💪

This is the kind of show you didn't know you needed. Perfect background show for whatever you're doing.

Typical of Isekai Treasure (Call me vanilla I love these shows 😂) the plot is always the same, the titles are an essay, and you forget them one week after the season's over.

*HOWEVER*

When you're working full time and trying to do a Master's degree, you don't have a ton of time. This is the type of show you can make your dinner to, fold laundry to and even work on assignments to because you can glance away for like 2-3 mins at a time and not miss anything ... with the occasional 10 second rewind because you heard a loud noise.

This is an anime of convenience and it gets a 7 for being so simple I can look away to be a responsible adult and come back and still know what's going on.

Don't let the low score of people who are starved of intense stimuli try to gaslight you into thinking that watching a certain Austrian Painter crochet a sweater would be more entertaining than this. It's worth a watch for the simple folk

The Review Y'all Aren't Ready For. For the people who want a gripping plot, cry and at the end make this their 13th reason, this show is average to poor. For those who want a nice relaxing show to give you hope in humanity, laugh, and a way to take a break from the harsh realities people see everyday, this show is one that will satisfy those cravings. Short, sweet and aims to entertain the audience. So if you want something mainstream and go along with cultural niches (yes I go big baby over people who hate on anime that are good), then don't watch ... this and be on your merry way. If you want a nice and easygoing laid back show that you want to turn your brain off to, this is your show 👉😎👉

Story 6/10: Ever since season 1 and I believe it was a MASTERPIECE, the show has kinda become all over the place and unpredictable. Though most would say that this would be a good thing, it ruins whichever mood it's trying to set. You have one moment when you have a heavy scene with a bunch of people that could die and then 2 mins after they're throwing jokes around. Kinda ruins the whole aspect of a dark shounen. On the flip side they have a happy ... moment then crushes your day with a sad scene. The show should pick a mood and stick with it. Much like Attack on Titan being a dark and usually depressing fantasy, those who enjoy that genre live in paradise while the happy-go-lucky slice of life/comedy/happy ending fans (like myself included) can steer clear but when you have a show that is all over the place, they have us laughing showing us the hope while crushing our souls with their finales. It's a good plot but hasn't been consistent as of late.

Art 10/10: Ufotable would take the worst rated show in history and make it a top 20 anime. (Kinda wanna see them redo Ex-ARM lol) I don't need to explain Unlimited Budget Works to anyone. They put their budget into this and despite the lack of action for the first half of this season, it's brought back amazingly!

Sound 7/10: The sound is good and sums up the scenes well. Obviously the cast puts their all into this and Hanae Natsuki never ceases to amaze his audience! If only they had the same quality of SFXs as A1 does that would have people in awe!

Character 6/10: Tanjiro has kinda dropped off a bit since season 1 and it seems that his primary goal isn't involving Nezuko anymore. It's more learning about himself and emphasizes my point in this anime kinda going all over the place. Inosuke has basically become the main character at this point if you look at where he started and where he is now. He's become an icon and probably the one reason I'm looking forward to Sundays is just to see him!

Enjoyment 7/10: This anime used to be in my top 10 (I have close to 600 watched anime series in my life so far so I've seen a couple lol) but ever since the movie, it dropped off and the beginning of this arc only reminded me of why this show fell. It got a lot darker compared to the vibe of most of the first season. Now it's picked up a lot with Uzui being an enjoyable character and Inosuke being the comic relief. It's gotten a little too serious and confusing but then again most shounens end up like that so for people who like to turn off their brain and relax watching anime.... thiiiiiis may not be the one to do that on. But the animation is easy on the eyes!

Overall 7/10: It's a great series and it's justified but there's a little too inconsistent with what kind of show it wants to be. Attack on Titan is a dark fantasy, Konosuba is pure comedy, My Hero Academia/Boruto are the classic fun shounens, Ranking of Kings is the hopeful underdog fantasy, A Silent Voice is the heartfelt emotional storyline but Demon Slayer is trying to merge all of these genres all in one and it leaves you questioning what message this is sending. This will always be a juggernaut throughout history but I feel as this series continues, they need to just pick a theme and stick to it. Focus on a specific audience rather than casting a large net trying to cater to everyone!
