It gets better as it goes along! Initially, I didn't have the best impression of the series because all the characters seemed so flawed and unlikeable, but I kept reading it solely because of the BEAUTIFUL art and the excitement of a love triangle with hot dudes. Over time, there has been a significant amount of character development, an the plot became more interesting than anticipated. I do really like how unpredictable it has been. Also, the main character having major flaws does make them a little more unique. So far, it has not been a love story, but a story of a young traumatized ... woman becoming a totally boss businesswoman, which has been cool to see. It also does a great job of representing people of color positively and not stereotypically, which is very rare in manhwa. Overall, I like it so far!

This is a super super cute romance story! Very feel good! I love the art and character designs. The characters are very loveable, especially the female lead-- she's strong, fun, cute, funny, spunky, and positive! I can't really imagine anyone not liking this series. The concept, which is in the title, is somewhat overdone in stories. That did not bother me at all since it's so well-executed, and this is introduced at the beginning, not the end. If this were the twist at the end, I would really roll my eyes. I guess I docked a star for the plot not being a super unique ... masterpiece, but again that's not really what I was looking for in this. This is great guilty pleasure light reading. The romance scenes are everything I want and make me squeal with delight and anticipation.

The last story is truly a masterpiece. All of them are interesting and unique. I do think it could be hit or miss depending on how much you like this kind of psychological one-shot. I was not really a fan of the ending of the story about plastic surgery, it didn't seem very realistic. At least, it is not the same, predictable stories you read all the time. Since these are all one-shots, they're pretty self contained. There's limited time for character development, and the stories are more about interesting concepts, or themes about humanity. This is not a happy, feel good collection either, ... but it's made an impression on me that stuck with me for years.
