These both anime is very tear-jerking and really show the point that "family is important." For Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 is about a siblings that start to realise how important their family was when they experienced a big earthquake in that time. On the other hand, Clannad is more focus on romance and family by the hero and his relationship with his father is bad. I think these animes is the right answer if you want to watch anime about family.

If you liked Danganronpa: Kibou no Gakuen to Zetsubou no Koukousei The Animation add

...then you might like Gatchaman Crowds add

Even though both of these animes got very different plot, there are some similarities that you could find in these both. For example, Gatchaman Crowds and Danganronpa are focus on a group of people that got different personalities and not to mention, their leader is not a human-- is a bear( even though they're very opposite). And Gatchaman Crowds got some comedies and more full of colour on the background than Danganronpa, but I think both of them got the same point which is, "you have to work together in order to receive the best."
