Denpa Onna to Seishun, or as I like to call it 'Denpa' for short, is one of those animes that you would watch just because you're bored or you have free time. It's not an anime where you'd want to watch the next episode right away because it's so interesting. It's really not that interesting, but it has it's moments. The moments in the Denpa that make this show bearable to watch are the hilarious parts of this anime. The comedy isn't great, but it'll make you chuckle every now and then. Lastly, the music that was chosen for this anime is decent. Not the ... best soundtrack I've heard but it's pretty good, especially the op (pretty catchy).

If you want an answer to whether you should watch this or not, then I'd have to advise you to try it only if you're not looking for a serious anime with an ingenious plot.

This anime is very unique. There's a lot of blood and nudity (something that is a real turn off for me when watching animes), but the characters and plot that were put into this series made it seem as if it was necessary. If this level of profanity was put into another anime, it would be a complete disaster, but Elfen Lied surprisingly pulled it off. To me, the creators expressed their creativity in this anime and that is something that cannot be ignored. The action is also another thing that got my attention. It was very intense which made all the blood in this ... anime acceptable. The characters are also amazing. Each one has their own dark, depressing, and detailed past. Their life stories make this anime even more interesting due to the fact that they all are connected in some way.

Enough about the pros; let's focus on the cons. There isn't going to be a season 2. You might think I say this because I think it's an awesome anime. Well no. The reason I say this is because the ending leaves you in suspense and it will tear you apart. Another thing that bothered me was the relationship the main character had with his cousin. I'm really not into incest so i found it kind of disturbing, but if you're into that stuff then hey; that's fine with me. Other than those 2 minor issues i had with this anime, it was great.

If you're looking for an answer to whether or not you should watch this, I'd say go for it. Even if it's not something that interests you, it won't hurt to explore new genres. Take me as an example. At first I thought this was just gonna be a hentai-filled, blood-infested piece of crap that was slapped together in 5 minutes out of a desperate attempt to fulfill someone's sick-minded fantasy. Now that I've seen it, I take it all back. Hope this gives you an idea about this anime.

It will make a grown man cry. It's been 3 months since I've watched this and I still get a tear in my eye when I hear 'Dango Daikazoku.' Just thinking about this anime makes my eyes watery. In other words, this anime is one of the greatest I have ever come across. It's extremely sad and happy, heart-breaking and heart-warming, and it's an anime that I will never regret watching. Everything about this anime is good. Words can't describe what I think about this anime.

The characters are great. The story is interesting. The art is fantastic. It's a really fun anime to watch on a relaxing day when you have all this time to spare. This type of anime doesn't necessarily appeal to everyone. It just depends on what you expect from an anime. That being the following; interesting characters, tense drama, romance, and a happy ending. I was really looking forward to watching this anime. The setting and plot was brilliant the first time I read it and I really had high hopes. It started off pretty decent but then went into a downward spiral. The ending was the part that drove this anime to the ground. It was depressing, unrealistic, and too simple. Although there were many bad things about this anime, there were some good things too. For example, the characters had detailed personalities. They gave off a feeling that made me wonder if these characters were actually based off of real people. That, in my opinion, was the ... best feature of this anime.

If you're looking for an answer to whether you should watch it or not, all I can say is you won't regret watching it. Although it isn't a very good anime (again, in my opinion), it will give you a little taste of what a slice-of-life anime is all about.
