Mixed Feelings
The anime stays true to the manhwa, faithfully adapting each scene without rushing or cutting corners. While this loyalty is appreciated, it becomes a double-edged sword. The animated series could benefit from injecting its own creativity, especially in the battle scenes. The manhwa excels in showcasing stunning battles through illustrations, but the anime feels somewhat lackluster in comparison. A bit more original animation could enhance the overall viewing experience. Nevertheless, the story and pacing remain solid, leaving only the animation as a minor disappointment for those craving a bit more flair in the action sequences. Oh right, the opening songs are bangers, though!

Hametsu no Oukoku starts off with a strong premise, introducing a main character consumed by the desire for revenge after the tragic loss of his beloved. The initial episodes (1-7) are engaging, setting the stage for a promising narrative filled with intensity and emotion.

The turning point comes when the main character encounters Doroka, who imparts a lesson about the pitfalls of revenge. This development adds complexity to the storyline as the protagonist grapples with conflicting emotions. While the idea of a character evolving and questioning their motives is intriguing, the execution falls short due to poor writing, leaving viewers more annoyed than empathetic.

One major flaw ...

With the new year almost here, I gotta share my thoughts on this anime, "Undead Girl Murder Farce." It's hands down my favorite for the year. The animation is on point, giving off those awesome GoSick vibes. And can we talk about the opening theme? It's a total banger.

Now, our main character? Selfish as heck, doesn't give a damn about anything. But, here's the twist—he's goofy and loves talking to himself, even when things get serious. Plus, he's got this thing for doing his own Rakugo. It's a wild combo, but it works.

Seriously, I'd recommend checking this one out!

If you're looking for a break from complicated plots and epic battles, this anime is right up your alley. While not much happens in terms of big events compared to the first season, the character development truly shines.

Ryoma, our protagonist, finally gets his second shop called Bamboo Forest in a new town, which opens up opportunities to meet interesting new people. It's fascinating to see how he interacts with them and forms genuine connections. The anime emphasizes the importance of these relationships, which is a refreshing change from the usual focus on overpowered magic and abilities.

Speaking of which, if you're expecting flashy displays of power, ...

Babylon (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
Babylon is an anime series that had the potential to be great, but unfortunately falls short in its execution. The story revolves around the main protagonist, Zen Seizaki, a public prosecutor investigating a pharmaceutical company involved in a scandal. The anime starts off strong with a gripping storyline that keeps the audience engaged.

However, as the series progresses, it begins to lose its focus and the plot becomes convoluted. The pacing of the story is also inconsistent, with some episodes feeling rushed while others drag on. This inconsistency makes it difficult for viewers to remain invested in the story and the characters.

Despite these shortcomings, Babylon does ...

I watched this anime and I have to say, it's not bad. It's pretty obvious that it's geared towards fans of the Kiseki series and Cold Steel, but if you're not familiar with the games, you might find yourself a bit lost. It was cool to see my boi Rean animated, but the plot wasn't anything too groundbreaking. The show doesn't spend a lot of time explaining things, which could be a good thing if you're already familiar with the lore, but might leave for anime only audience confused. That being said, they do introduce some interesting details about North Ambria that weren't in the ...
