I had the same mindset going into this season... Didn't pan out the way I wanted lmao. Only thing I've watched besides seasonal anime is 7 episodes of Paranoia Agent. I wanted to watch so much more D: ... Although I'll at least watch Mushoku Tensei this season so I can watch s2 when it'll air. I missed it when it was airing :p... I haven't heard of Fena but it sounds cool, I'll check it out! :) (edit: i watched the first episodes 2 and I love it so far. It reminds me of Gurren Lagann and that's a BIG compliment! :D Thank you for the recommendation, I would've missed this otherwise. :3)
Oh, you are? Congratulations, that's awesome! :'D. Are there any jobs in particular that you'd like to work with or are you just scouting for whatever? Fuck mosquitos, I've gotten so many bites this summer... Wow, you sure you havent pissed off mother nature? First flooding and now lightning? What's next, a fucking volcanic eruption lmao xD. Jokes aside, it must've been cool (and scary ofc) to be close to lightning. At least, that's what I'd imagine.
I feel like this anime season is dry, do you have any anime to recommend? (Not just from this season)
I wish the best of luck to you! Haha, worth, fuck 'em mosquitos xd. Glad to hear it's under control, those things are scary. Like the flooding in Belgium, Netherlands and Germany. That shit's scary af.
Oh yeah, I binged the hell out of it. I don't want to discuss it in depth, because it might take away something from your experience. All I will say regarding Punpun is that it's definitely worth your time. I've actually been reading a lot of manga as of late thanks to Punpun. The feeling I get is sort of reminiscent to how it felt when you began watching anime, it's a nice feeling for me.
You never know unless you try. We're in our early 20s, it's not the end of the world if you make mistakes. The worst thing you can do is to cower in fear and anxiety and not do anything. Lets just hope for the best! :D
That sounds nice (not the flooding, but staying outside in the rain), hope you didn't catch a cold. Hahaha, wtf that sounds insane, people scooping water from their driveway sounds sooo unprecedented in Sweden xD. How's the situation looking now? I almost never get sick, but when I do it hits hard. This was one of those times, but yeah, I'm fine now. Thanks for your concern. ^^
I began reading punpun again yesterday... I'm sort of terrified I think it'll destroy me, but I'll continue reading regardless. Lets see how Tokyo Revengers turns out, and the last cliffhanger... goddamn, I'm so stoked to see the next episode. ;D
Sounds like a fun journey, hope it works out for you :D. These things don't happen often so you should definitely go for it! Sounds rough not finding a residence, all I can say is keep looking and it'll hopefully work out :3. I totally agree, rainy days are so nice and relaxing. Hahaha, you really seem to love spring xD, good choice. For me autumn takes the cake. It's not too warm or cold and I love the aesthetic (when it's dry), it's also reaaaally cozyyy :D. I wish I also could go out and enjoy spring, but I'm stuck home being sick af. D: Thought I had covid for a moment, but the test I did came back negative, so that's good at least.
Yeah, nothing wrong with crying, it's human ;_;. I think I'll pick up punpun again in the near future, I'll tell you then if it's worth it xd. Thanks! :'). Draken is amazing, I love Mikey's and Drakens relationship. The whole thing with "Draken is Mikey's heart" we saw in the last episode is really cool, I'm stoked for the upcoming episode. I also noticed Draken's name xD. I've heard great things about Fruits Basket, probably a good choice.
Ahhh, that's unfortunate... goodbyes are hard. Do you have any plans for when you're done with the course? The heat came and went quickly, now it's going to be raining the whole weekend, gotta love it :D.
Yeah, I am easily prone to crying watching shows, so that episode had me crying my eyes out. That's also why I "dropped" Oyasumi Punpun. Shit had me fucked up and I'm only a third to finishing it... that'll be fun to finish... >:(. But yeah, To Your Eternity is very promising, top of the year contender if it continues with this amount of quality. Yeah, I agree, Vivy is very original. A breath of fresh air, really. Toyko Revengers is such a fun watch, Manjirou left such a great impression. I even changed him to my pfp xD. I've heard many compare Iron-Blooded Orphans and 86. Maybe I'll have to watch that if I continue to enjoy 86. Shadows house is a cute watch with a unique victorian setting, but it hasn't shown anything spectacular as of yet. If you're catching up on things I definitely suggest Megalo Box. It's ramping up to be my favourite this season, and that says a lot.
Yeah, university does that to you, but look at the bright side, this semester is almost done! :D Hard work pays off. No need to apologize :3.
To be frank, I've always had a thing for mathematics, which is one of the only reasons why I chose this programme, really. But I don't enjoy programming nor electronics as much, which is why it's hard for me currently.
Haha, yeah true. :D it makes me happy to think of ATLA, makes me reminiscent of my childhood. :3
I think this season is great. There are so many promising shows and sequels. The one with best potential I'd say is To Your Eternity, it left such a great first impression and made me cry, ngl :p. Vivy is probably one of the greatest anime originals to come out in a while and Megalo Box's direction is very interesting compared to the first season. Otherwise I enjoyed Hige wo Soru and Tokyo Revengers a lot. I'll have to start watching 86 as well.
How about you? What are some shows you've enjoyed this season?
Thank you for the recommendation! :)
They have it on Netflix in other countries. I know for a fact they have it in the US. Sweden hasn't licensed it yet and that's what I'm waiting for. Although, it might never happen. I like the comfort of having it on Netflix, it's so accesible. I don't want to bother with streaming sites D: . But if push comes to shove and I really want to watch it, it'll have to make due.
I like the pacing of the show, it just bombards you with hype moments. There's almost no rest in between fights and it doesn't become dull. I like this manwha a lot.
Yeah, I can relate to that. I wish Netflix could license ATLA in Sweden, so I can binge it again. I can't bother with VPN's.
The protagonist grew on me so much, he's such a thrill to follow. He went from the biggest wimp to the biggest chad in like 20 chapters. Great character writing from the author. I already understand why this manwha is so beloved and I'm excited to read more. :)
Same, atla is what made me begin watching anime in the first place. It holds a special place in my heart and always will.
I'm currently on chapter 12 and so far I'm hooked. I'm not 100% sold on the protagonist, but I loved the stakes and desperation of the minor characters in the first dungeon. The statue was intimidating and it was great. I'm probably going to read alot tonight. :)
Btw, I love the pic of Aang and Appa, it's cute :D
The weak MC archetype is a bit oversaturated, but I can still get behind it if the story/characters are well written. I think SAO was good and enjoyable in its introduction, then it fell apart for me, but that wasn't because Kirito became OP. But alright, I'm intrigued, I'll check it out soon :)
