91 Days

The time periods of 91 Days and Baccano! are in the prohibition era of America, with a rich historical feel to them. Baccano! and 91 Days have the main characters of the show apart of mafias. However, 91 Days is a bit more serious and dark-toned compared to Baccano!'s friendship mystery. Nonetheless, these animes are both highly enjoyable to watch.

Boku dake ga Inai Machi

Steins;Gate and Boku dake ga Inai Machi revolve around the concept of the butterfly effect, where one action causes a chain effect into the future. Both protagonists continually travel back in time to fix the main cause and to fix their futures from something both Okabe and Satoru don't want to have. Both are great fiction animes with Steins;Gate more on a technical, machine level and Boku dake ga Inai Machi with a simple ability.

These two stories revolve around the idea of traveling back in time and fixing what has happened in a previous life and the concept of the butterfly effect. With both anime protagonists trying to fix things right, many of their actions may have a wrong twist to them. They are both interesting to watch, either in the fantasy lands of Re: Zero or the twisted year of 1988 in Boku dake ga Inai Machi.

The two main protagonists, Okabe and Subaru, work with time whether it is through a machine or an ability (There is more similarities with this. However, I will leave it a surprise.). The story revolves around take action and changing the future, otherwise known as the Butterfly Effect. Both animes are made by the same studios and are enjoyable to watch after the first few episodes.

When looking for a survival game, these two will kill you. Literally. Both animes showcase having an overseer of the game, whether that is a god or game creator. However, in order to leave said game, both are different but still leave a sense of survival and death games. I didn't care for the fast pace of SAO's way of showing the survival aspect of the plot. I did like Mirai Nikki's way of survival of kill with whatever resources you got. Overall, if you like watching lives at stake and the struggle of a death game more real than SAO, Mirai Nikki will fill that gap for you.

The two animes' main theme revolves around spirits and gods. The main characters become friends with one of the gods. The weapons are very similar in the way that they can grow stronger. However, if you are going to watch Bleach, be prepared to watch lots of episodes as there is 300+.

Good and evil and the boundaries between the two are the main themes of these animes. There is also one person in charge of judgement with a system of which humans are judged upon.

The main character is in nobility and is supported by someone not human. The setting of both animes are very similar. From episode to episode, the characters are solving mysteries, wheither it be short term or the overall plot. Both are very entertaining to watch.
