OK, now it's time. It's time for the One Piece review. Before I start this, I want you to know that I am a huge One Piece fan. Or I was. Not sure anymore.

[bold]Story[/bold]
One Piece start great. Pirates racing to find the treasure of a pirate named Gold Roger, a large detailed world, lovable characters, bunch of mystery. How much better can a manga get?

What is the "Will of D."? What is One Piece? Where is All Blue? Who is Im? Who is Joy Boy? How strong was Xebec? There's lots of questions and surely they'll be explain in future. Or ... will they?

This is where you realize that Oda doesn't explain anything. He writes this manga for like 26 fucking years and we still don't know that. And when he explained some of this stuff, they will be a huge disappointment. Like, who cares about Aramaki now? The character he left a mystery for like 10 years. Who is he? Nothing more than a Sakazuki simp. Or Vegapunk? The demonic genius? He is just an old man who gets fooled by his own robot. If only these two remained a mystery, we could at least get a little hype about them. But now, they are just huge disappointments.

[bold]Characters[/bold]
Let's start with our main character, Luffy. My childhood crush, and favorite character for years. Now i only feel disgust for him. Nika and rearcarnation shit ruined him. He was a perfect protaganist. Funny, reliable, never gives up, sometimes cruel, and he was not a hero. Hero's share their meat with other people, he wants all the meat for himself. He was a pirate. But now he is a god. This is not my Luffy. I want my old Luffy back.

And our second main Zoro. I miss the old Zoro. Funny, dumb hardworking Zoro. Always smiling Zoro. Set on his goals Zoro. I hate the new Zoro. The always rude, cool and plastic Zoro. Fuck, i even had a sword i thought i was like Zoro. But now im crying in my bed for his fate. My boy didnt deserve that. He won't even get a proper backstory, since Oda said so. I used to dislike Zoro fans, but now i feel so much symphaty for them.

If One Piece ever had a third main, it would be Nami. Or Sanji. So i will discuss both.

Nami didn't get so much character damage like these two above, beacuse she didn't get screen time enough to a character damage. That's so sad. I think Nami is a perfect example for a shounen female mc. Thought she's now a plastic doll, she still goes strong.

Sanji in other hand, taked too much damage. After time skip, he is just a pervert dog. (And it's not a irony, he really said that.) But since Oda is soft on him lately -expect that dog part ofc- i won't critice him so hard. He is my favorite chracter, after all.

The last one i want to critice is Shanks. A.k.a celetial dragon. I fucking hate him. He always comes after the danger has passed or everyone is tired, says some cool words and leaves. Period. Oda' golden child. Also, this guy is contradicting himself, bro you go tell Aramaki not to interfere with the new age, but you destroy the Kid and his crew - one of the new age-? Dude, wtf?

Sometimes good, sometimes shit. Oh, and he draws all the characters in one form but i think it's fate of the weekly mangas, so nevermind.

In conclusion, looking at the above, One Piece is complete trash. So why such a high score?

Because this is One Piece. One Piece is magical. No other manga could sell such a crappy story for so many years. Oda may not be a good mangaka, but he is a very good marketer. He knows how to keep hype alive. That's why he hasn't worked with Shanks or Mihawk for years, because the role of these characters is not to be a good character. Maintainin hype. They're going to be a huge disappointment when they're processed, and maybe people will realize that this manga isn't going to be good, but there's more to come before then.
