I'm a sucker for cute, romantic stories, and I feel that Gal Gohan hits the spot with that criteria while adding a bit more on top of it.
The Manga describes a Gyaru (gal) by the name of Miku Okazaki who's practically the worst student in the school and is given the task of making cookies for the teachers in order to allow her to graduate. However, she ends up staying in a cooking club that a home economic's teacher, Mr. Yabe, makes.
The story doesn't a specific direction that it goes in, (maybe aside from but each chapter does (most of the time) introduce a new
...
dish they make in their club and also shows their adventures for that section.
The art is phenomenal, the characters look great; the main & other girls are cute, MC looks handsome. Massive props to the artist.
If you're looking for something lighthearted, funny, cute, with romance, comedy, set in a school, and/or includes cooking, Gal Gohan is definitely something to check out.

Just got back from the 10:20 PM showing of the Funimation release of "Your Name" at Century Cinema 16 in Mountain View around 2 hours ago (as of writing this).
Here's a short review with as little spoilers as possible.
Review (Dubbed Version) :
Story : 9 - Psychologically sophisticated and intriguing, while simple enough to understand. Throw in an engaging story involving romance, comedy, slice of life, symbolism, plot twists and you have "Your Name". The synopsis barely scratches the surface of what is presented on the screen.
Art : 10 - Beautiful. All of the characters are beautifully drawn, and all of the environments and objects
...
pop out at your face.
Sound : 10 - Radwimps, you've outdone yourself on the OST. Great music for all the scenes, really sets the mood perfectly for every single scene that calls for it. For example, the track "Date" and "Date 2" are essentially the same track, but the dissonance introduced in the same tracks contribute all that much more to the feeling/mood of the scene.
Background sounds felt incredibly realistic as well, from the footsteps to the city trains.
Characters : 10 - Taki and Mitsuha, both 17 year old teenages with different personalities; lovable characters. Not dense, not too overpoweringly smart, but just how a teenager should be. The supporting characters are also extremely prominent in the movie, and contribute to many of the events and elements for the plot; all of them felt as if they all played a "main character" role.
Dubbing : 9 - The English dub was great, the voices fit well for all of the characters. The only thing that was a bit off was the lip syncing and the mouth timings for certain lines. Aside from that, the overall timing for the rest of the lines felt natural and was paced at a good speed.
Enjoyment/Overall rating : 10 - Great movie, intriguing story, beautifully drawn characters and backgrounds, breathtaking soundtrack along with background sounds, overall amazing.
One of the, if not, the best movie I've ever seen.
You get something for everyone. The English dub might make a few people who enjoy the original language with subtitles more feel a bit uncomfortable in the beginning, but it'll most likely grow on you throughout the movie. The English dub does also help out in many parts to help the viewer understand the situation better, and it also prevents you from looking at the subtitles the whole time, so you can have your eyes on the faces of each character too.
Love comedy? There are scenes that are perfect for getting a giggle out of the viewers.
Love Romance along with a compelling, well written, and deep story? You'll find plenty of it throughout the whole movie.
Bring your kids, your grandchildren, your sisters, brothers, and your significant other (perfect date movie, it's cute).
The only downsides are that, I did have a few questions and felt a little confused on some of the events leading up to others which was occuring in the later parts of the story, but these were extremely minor and had little effect on the experience. Also, I'll never be able to fondle Mitsuha's boobs like Taki did in the movie.
Other than that, 10/10. Must watch.

An amazingly written Rom/com, Gender bender series.
If you haven't read this yet and you're a fan of said genres,
Give this one a shot, you won't be disappointed.
Story - 8
Heartwarming, entertaining, and funny. The plot itself is similar to other Rom/Com manga. However, the heartwarming randomness within the plot along with a feeling of progression in time is what brings out the "story".
...
Art - 9
The art is fantastic. Each character is extremely appealing to look at. Sometimes, you'll question if Aikawa is really a girl or not. ;)
The art also gradually changes as you go farther into the story.
You'll notice, and it's amazing. Props to Matsumoto Tomoki. 11/10
Characters - 9
All characters are lively, outgoing, interesting. and have unique personalities. Each one of them are extremely lovable and uplifting with their randomness and uplifting moods.
(MC's aren't Dense. Thankfully.)
Enjoyment/Overall - 9
The entire manga is beautifully written and drawn. The events/plot along with the cast of characters that are extremely entertaining and interesting creates an calming atmosphere that allows one to get somewhat attached the story and each character.

Asu No Yoichi is mainly focused on Yoichi Karasuma. A samurai who was sent to the Ikaruga Dojo/The City by his father to become a stronger warrior/experience other things that he hasn't done while living in the mountains. When he arrives at the City, he starts out as a total outcast. Causing mischief (Though he means well.), wearing strangle clothing, and even saying strange things. But as the story progresses, he slowly begins to learn the city life and eventually enjoys it. He also manages to get a few girls to fall in love with him.
Story : 7/10
The story is basically a romantic comedy
...
with action. it isn't really much of a harem. The plot of the story isn't necessarily anything too extraordinary. But it does contains lots of fighting scenes and some romantic scenes.
Art : 9/10
Oh MAN. Another thing that caught my attention and probably a lot of other peoples' attention was the artwork of the picture on the anime's page. THE CHARACTERS LOOK AMAZING. The females are beautiful and i have to admit, Yoichi is a pretty handsome samurai.
Sound : 9/10
Voice acting and sound effects for the scenes were superb.
Character : 7/10
There isn't any major development in characters, but you will see some development as the story progresses.
Enjoyment : 8/10
It's a fun anime to watch, the funny scenes and ecchiness kept it going along with the action.
Overall : 8/10
Overall Asu no Yoichi contains : A Decent story, good sound and visuals, and mild character development.
Anyone who is interested in watching a romantic comedy with action and a small harem should definitely check Asu no Yoichi out.
