First off, this was my first Gundam anime I've ever watched and I came into it with high expectations. Sadly enough it disappointed me in all but the visuals.
The story is meh, the main thing that "makes it special" is that the school is not a school but in fact just a children's political playground with no regard for safety. Apart from that it's pretty generic. That wouldn't bother me if it was the characters or the plot itself was good. But at as you can see from the rating im giving they just weren't. They try hard to portray the MC as an innocent
...
girl from a backwater who has no idea how the world works, in reality she just becomes annoying after a few episodes and is painfully dumb. The side characters are either dumb cliché or pretty alright. The plot is very predictable and therefore not interesting at all.
The only reason I'm giving it a 6 despite all that is that the animation and soundtrack are both pretty good, if the characters and story had been better it could have been an easy 8/10.

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS
Well I'm gonna get roasted for this but here we go.
I loved seasons 1-3 of AOT, they had something not many other anime could do despite multiple attempts to do so. Problem with this season is that it looses much of that.
1. Sound:
While the soundtrack isn't horrible it's a far cry from the infamous music made by Linked Horizon. From the OP to the several themes in the fighting scenes.
2. Art:
While AOT wasn't THE most beautiful anime out there, it certainly did the job. I'm not gonna be someone who does nothing but complain about the animation and art but
...
it should be said that it was not up to standard for an anime said to have revolutionized the animation sphere.
3. The characters:
By far the one I am most dissapointed in. This will contain slight spoilers, but I don't think they matter that much.
Basically every member of the team has changed, while it's understandable due to the time skip and the work they've been doing I cannot for the life of me get to like everyone's new personality. Certainly some are still good and some even improved, many just feel like your typical anime soldier now. I won't even talk about Eren but I'm not that big a fan of him either. On that topic, only 3 of the original gang actually gets screentime anymore. Eren, Mikasa, Jean, Hange sometimes pops up, but then again she only pops up to further the plot. Armin shows up sometimes, but I am quite sure he has less lines then frickin Connie in Season 1.
And the new characters, I want to focus on one of them in particular: Gabi.
I was very excited to when I heard new characters were coming, and oh boy was I disapointed. None but a few have any sort of development. It's really fixed into 3 groups, the ELDIANS COME FROM HELL group/ELDIAN EMPIRE SHALL RULE ONCE AGAIN group (aka the extremist), the soldier group (who are nothing but soldiers), and the moderate group. Of these 3 groups, the only one that deserves to be talked about in a good way is the moderate group. They unlike the soldier and extremist group actually feel like human beings, story wise the extremist group makes sense. That does not mean it's okay to just show them off every few minutes/episodes (a certain extremist is a MC) for the balls of it.
I'll be fair here and I will admit that story wise all the groups make sense, and I do understand they are needed to further the story. It's the way they implimented them that just hurts my eyes, in the last episodes that has come out (11) even more throw away characters are introduced. One an Eren rip off and one a Mikasa rip off, did they actually run out of Idea's?
Well I'm prepared to get roasted and hate mail for this, but this is my honest opinion and I think at least some people agree with me.

Let's get started
(Minor spoilers)
The pro's:
Once you start watching there is one thing almost nobody hates in this anime, Yuno. As of making this review I've watched half the anime and if I'm honest she's the only reason I'm still watching.
The story idea is pretty interesting.
The first few episodes are fire.
...
The soundtrack is quite nice.
The many cons:
The main character, all do this isn't one shared by all. I personally have to say Yuki sucks. In the first few episodes his character and his story at least sound and look okay. But the further you go the more you'll dislike the guy. *Minor spoiler* As of episode 12, all he is, is a massive cry baby who likes trying to be a black clover character (vriends with everyone) while being in a ''Seinen'' anime.
The story: It had so much potential, but somehow they fail to use the main aspect of the story, the frickin mirai nikki's. The story feels quite bland to be honest, wont go into detail but the anime feels like it's less focusing on the story and more on the love story. In some cases that still works, but here it just gets on my nerves. Never in any anime have I just wanted the main character to man up.
Side characters:
To be honest, these people almost feel like banana peels without a bana inside of them. They feel so empty even the ones we see the most feel like they just went and bought a random manga and just stole a character from there. And if that did happen the characters would have been better. I honestly don't know how little care can be put into a side character.
Overal:
Mirai nikki is an anime many will enjoy and many will hate. And to be honest I totally get why someone would enjoy this anime but in my eyes it's a poorly written, rushed (not even sure if it was) anime.

Black Bullet is a simple anime. And anime don't have to be complex full of lore and character development to be good. But black bullet doesn't do it right. The best way to describe black bullet is ''Unneeded death''. It tries making itself dark by just throwing death and discrimination at your screen. It just feels shallow. It kills just to kill. I'd be fine with it, if it actually furthered the plot. And even worse, it is full of cliches. It feels like the maker asked his or her 10 year old child what he or she would respond.
The story itself actually isn't that
...
bad. It tries hard to make it interesting, it really tries to make you feel sorry for the cursed children. The characters just suck, there's nothing more to say. All the character development goes to the main character. And people who are interesting, get about 15 minutes screen time.
I dont recommend this anime unless you really have some free time

**Minor spoilers, won't ruin your experience**
I was a huge fan of re:zero season 1, so I had high hopes for season 2. The first few episodes lived up to that expectation, they continued and even improved on everything season 1 did good. And then it started going down hill.
Story:
I love and always will love the idea behind re:zero. The story is still great, but there's a certain something that ensures season 2 doesn't go to its full potentional (next part). I assume everyone reading this review already gets the idea behind the anime so I wont explain it.
Characters:
Subaru was a great character that was the
...
perfect balance between an optimist, pesimist, hopeful, depressed. And season 2 made him as a person even better. Until a certain point in the story ,at this point Subaru was ruined, due to the simple fact, (and I'm guessing here) that the writers somehow forgot about Subaru's entire journey. His become (a bit of a spoiler) a bratty cry baby. As someone who knows depression and has been through crappy experiences myself I can't help but cringe at Subaru. Every episode starts feeling more and more repetitive and not just restart life repetitive. I can't say much more without spoiling so I'll stop there.
Art:
Not much to say , re:zero's art was never super super or bad. It's just good-good enough.

Honestly, anyone can be forgiven for thinking it's another generic isekai (do in theory it isn't) like isekai cheat magician.
I have to state, I am an big fantasy and magic anime fan, so you can expect a bit of bias.
The story, characters and action are all mediocre, I dont think you'll loose hair due to them but I can't say in any way they're great. But honestly, I don't think the creators intended this to be a tate no yuusha. The show has made me laugh more than any other 13 episode anime. If you were meant to laugh, I can't say but
...
that doesn't matter because it does. I will note, there are 2 characters I love in this anime, and those are anos his parents. I wont specify why but they just work.
The story is generic and is one of those where everything happens in a way to further the story. Characters growth doesn't really exist. But that doesn't mean I hate the characters. Even do they're backstories aren't good, even do there are typical harem girls everywhere, even do half of the side characters only get 1 scene. They still feel closer to hart than many other anime of the kind with the same flaws. Anos isn't just an OP MC like hachi-nan's MC. The girls aren't just harem simp girls who have no reason to exist.
TLDR: Nothing here is great, but much of it just works.
I recommend this anime ON the condition your a fan of the genre. And I do feel I have to say this, your sense of humor must allign with the anime. I fully get why people hate this anime. But I really don't think they understood where the enjoyment is in this anime.
If you are looking for something of the sort but better in most every way, watch shield hero (tate no yuusha) or fairy tail. They are great animes (do many will debate how good fairy tail is) worth your time.

Ill make this review short,
The makers of fire force seem to think that making their anime into a murder mystery is a good idea. I'll tell you right now, it isn't. I have no problem with the story growing more complex over time, it's to be expected. But now it's just a rolling coaster of plot twists. The characters really don't grow much more. The art is still great, music is fine. But I do think what made season 1 special is gone in season 2 (as of now aka episode 13).
Now there are still some good parts, the humor isn't bad. The
...
action scene's are still good. The pacing is ''okay'', it's really all over the place. The second season doesn't improve on anything the first season did good or bad. This doesn't mean it's a bad anime but It's much worse than the first season.

The best way to describe this anime is, beautiful but horrible.
Let me explain,
The story (7/10) isn't super original nor just another copy cat story.
The idea had so much potential, a man who has lost literally everything including his entire race tries finding is way in life. The love story, even do I wasn't a fan of it. It felt natural, like it isn't just a yandere or tsundere. You actually think (sometimes) that it's two real people falling in love. And now to the reason why I only gave it 7, the entire show is just wasted, it is so inconsistant. The pacing is
...
so crap I had to skip half the show, while missing nothing important. And some times I had my eyes focused on the anime because I just had to know what was gonna happen next.
I won't spoil anything but, this is the first time in a while I've cried over an anime character. The characters are good enough, they aren't under developed nor do they focus everything on one person. You might even come to care about some of them. And there lays the catch, you might come to care about some of them. I would say there's only about 4 maybe 5 people in a cast of 20 or such you could care about. Sometimes the story and back story has you asking if your still watching the same anime and other times you're asking yourself what you have been doing with your life. I believe this is the writer fault, because he was just way to inexperienced to make a masterpiece out of this story. This anime just really loves hopping across the line of crap and then making a leap to great.
With that being said, I advice you watch it. If you have some free time. But beware, this is an LN promotion anime. You'll be left on a cliffhanger. I myself did read the LN just to find myself wanting more. (there is a sequal LN named suka moka but no fan translation exists as of making this review.)

Let me start by saying, I have not watched the entire anime yet.
Now that you know that I can start.
The anime is based on the classic ''One person can snap you out of depression''. But that's my biggest problem, they take that to another level. The main character is supposed to have a trauma and be depressed. But in the episode's I watched It just didn't feel like a real person. Anime's who use depressed MC's have to make sure their MC is relatable to people who've been depressed before. Your lie in april totally fails to do that for me. It takes one person
...
to snap you out of depression, it doesn't take one cry for help to break your past trauma's and bring you back to the real world. It really just doesn't work that way. I felt like they were downplaying the severity which could have been explored in many ways. At it's core, it's more a musical than a insperational anime.
I do have to say a few things do,
1. I am not a massive fan of the genre in the first place.
2. The anime could improve or worsen after the episodes I watched.
Now to the art and sound:
The art is like a canvas painting (ish), the animation can look slugish at times. But for the rest it isn't half bad. The sound as you'd expect is good. Nothing to complain about.

Alright let's get straight to business.
As a fantasy and magic anime fan Blade of tempest had been on my list for a while.
The first and biggest problems are as follows (the higher up the worse ):
Character Logic:
If you don't look into the details you wont have a big problem with this but if you're like me and many others who think about every action made, you will want to pull your hair out. What make it worse is that the characters are ''made'' to look smart, which again they fail at, hard.
Pacing:
Again if you like slower paced anime this point doesn't count, still I'd
...
be best to read this. The anime can take entire episodes to reveal on secret/plot twist that everyone saw coming. As a fan of faster paced action anime this just hurt. Some episodes were even fully in real time where they don't move from their location.
Character backstories:
This anime just fails hard at making you feel emotionally etached to the characters. It really did start off well but the further it goes the worse it gets. As weird as this sounds, none of the characters feel like the actual characters.
Positives:
Action:
Despite being slow paced, the action itself isn't bad. Nothing that'll make you go wow, but it isn't bad.
Story:
The story itself actually isn't bad, interesting, pretty original. Not every store has to reinvent the wheel to be good.
Personal remarks:
As someone of a higher than average IQ (not much) I just can't stand the stupidity and flawed logic. I hate a certain main character that feels like nothing but a blank piece of paper. The CG isn't great nor bad, does the job.
