This is based on the first volume. I love the art style, you can really see the time taken to make each panel. Feels a lot more meaningful than the anime series. The characters are shown perfectly and are even given a page dedicated to them and their stats. You can see the positives and struggles for each member. It is very attention-grabbing even though I have already seen what will happen. I love the style of art used on the manga cover. I like that they do the same style on all of the Haikyuu!! covers. The plot of this anime was a big mess. There was a lot of filler and segg. I would never recommend it to anyone. Biggest waste of time, in my opinion. Very weird script and innuendos. If I remember correctly the voice actors did a poor job; I watched in sub. When there was action happening, there was too much happening on screen to focus. Messy production as well. Personally, this is my least favorite anime I have ever seen. The main characters were more perverted than 'Food Wars' or Mineta from BNHA.
