I already saw some refs for this but wtvr, maybe my input vs there’s is slightly different. Both are about the relationship between a high school student who is an avid worker and doesn’t care much about school, and their relationship with an adult.... What makes them even more similar is the aspect of rain: in both films, rain is what connects the characters. the type of relationship with the teenager and adult is slightly different in both, but one of the factors for that may be the length of each anime. GoW is 45 mins long vs AtR being 22 episodes. the relationships develop differently .. damn i be sounding philosophical af. Garden of words is a movie of sort, so they need to cram everything in their. if they had some sort of time skip at the end that would’ve been nice. HOWEVER, Garden of words did a better job of showing a more realistic version of a relationship of this sort. hope this helps have a great day; stay safe, stay healthy

These shows are so similar. If you liked one of them I can guarantee that you’ll love the other: -both of the main characters are “bone fide” girls but look like boys and everyone thinks that they are too. -both involves host clubs; more specifically, the story lines are both about the main character breaking something in a host club which then having to make up for it -hot ass characters; they are all so weird Although one revolves around the romance aspect and the other sports, they both gave me very similar vibes but it depends on your preferences. And an fyi I watched Aoharuu x Kikanju (Machine gun) before OHHC :) have a nice day

...then you might like Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e add

Both have very similar art styles due to being made by the same studio. Very harsh school life, More specifically: Trash Class In assassination classroom 3-E is the worst possible class you could be in. It's the dumps. You get the "worst teachers", supplies, treatment etc. The same goes with Classroom of the Elite. For each year there are four classes: A,B,C,D. You strive to be in class A. You get horrible treatment, harsh rules and no help when you are in class D. The goal is to move up with your class to the next letter and then push the others down. A, B, and C have stepping stones. Class D needs to create their own. Classroom of the Elite follows the Freshmen of Class D. Or more specifically the mysterious Ayanokouji who is really smart and got exactly 50% on his entrance exams. It's very good a highly recommend. There is only one season, and it's unlikely that there will be another since it was mostly advertisement for the Light Novel. The light novel is really good, so after you watch the first season of the anime you should read that. Think it picks up at Volume 3 or 4.
