it's a good story, great even.

But as I am reading it along, in my mind all I can think is that I wish got better artist to tell this story. Someone to can portrays character acting better, someone who can draw a scenery better, someone who well-trained in the art of storytelling etc. etc. It would be so much better package than what it is now. which is a plank wood of an style. Even live-action film would be a better way to told this story.

on the subject of the story, it's rather simple, somber and passive but it got some tooth and ... fangs in it. It has a vision and knows what it wants to clearly told the audience .It can cut deep in some aspects and the characters are not bad either.

All it really need it's a better artist who can elevate this material. (Yes, I know that a bit mean especially when the main character is an artist who give up his way ,but review is a review)

An outstanding show. The pinnacle of pure-blood Slice of life (like super cup that story doesn't have a main big goal to work toward / different from cute girl doing 'thing' SOL genre like Yuru camp).

It has a simple story of ensemble cast of class 1-3 living their school life, yet it is well told, deliberate and very genuine. It will warm up your mind, give you a smile and make you nostalgia for memory that you don't really have.

With how all of the characters move, talk and act. Some characters have a goal that outside of what the show is, some character just ... vibing with their school life. They feel deeply alive and charming. Especially the titular 'Akebi' who always moving, always curious and enjoy every slice of her life. she have her eccentric quality and at the same time accept what the others have wholeheartedly, it's hard to hate her.

Visual and audio is also amazingly done. With higher production value than your usual show. You can feel the team behind the show's passion seep through every scenes. Props to this production team of Cloverwork.

BIG BIG recommendation.
