Oh my, it only took me one episode to decide that this was not worth sticking around! Look, I came here because I thought the idea was cool, the feared Nobunaga reincarnated as a dog. It looked like it would be a fine comedy and I could learn a little bit more about the history of Japan. But......the first 10 minutes of the episode already threw me off enough to completely drop out and even encouraged me to write one of the few reviews I had. First, the thing that bothered me the most of the way the first episode, just the first one, was
...
handled. The episode looked like it was written by a ten year old and I'm not exaggerating to make a point. So if you familiar the with the plot, the episode basically does it the easiest way possible and that's it. What I mean with this is that you see Nobunaga about to commit suicide like history was told and the next scene, there he is. Yeah, the dog. Everything about this transition was just so, so wrong I'm even having trouble putting into words, but what you see is basically, after the death of the character, the next moment of the anime shows him as the titular dog already fully grown (I'd say a dog 3-5 years old) and not only that, but his mindset is almost like he remembered his life as Nobunaga from a few minutes ago. You don't see the dog growing up, you don't see him remembering little by little about his previous life. He suggest as a punchline, before dying, that after all that he's done, he may as well be reborn as a dog, and the next minute hes already in the body of a grown dog, with memories fresh like it happened yesterday and for some bizarre reason, his owner appears right after, and he reacts like a lot of domesticated dogs would react, but now that he's realizing the way he react is that of a dog. Makes me wonder, what the hell happened here? Did he just now realized that he had a previous life as a human being and even though he tries, he cannot deny his animal instincts?!?! This was so poorly done that only after seeing people can fully comprehend. That was the first major issue I had with the show which made me realize this would be as lazy as it could get; The second one is a little more complicated but I'll try to explain. The way this reincarnated Nobunaga talks in his mind does not suggest at all that of a leader would even if this leader was a goofy one. He talks and acts in his own head like a teenager who suddenly became an adult and not only that, but an influential adult in feudal Japan and he's more concerned with his self-image as Nobunaga than with the actions that Nobunaga took that made him what he was. It doesn't speak "grown mature man" to me at all, it only contributes to make the first minutes of this show look a lot more like a four panel comic joke rather than a story and despite the fact that I wanted to see where this was heading, those things alone made me sure that this wasn't well-thought at all, it didn't bother even with the most basic details and it couldn't even pass a slapstick comedy, much less a anime.

I simply gave up on this show. I couldn't stand anymore the repetitive storytelling and the deeper I got the more this show seems to be aimed directly at children. The stakes are incredibly boring, because there's no threat at all cause the MC is so overpowered or if something bigger shows up (say, a loli "demon lord" who acts like a child) just give her some treats and there you go, mission accomplished. At some point it started to get boring and even embarrassing, the atmosphere may work for the first episodes but after a while you start to wonder "Is that it?" So
...
bye, can't take it anymore.

I don't have much time to do detailed reviews so I basically reserve myself the right to do so when I feel like I should warn people from my point of view and when I just can't stand around something any longer, since I decide to stop watching this one when I found myself sitting through just for the sake of watching it. I really thought it would be something interesting but when I was watching episode 4 and still didn't find a good reason to continue and saw no development being made other than the main character showing how awesome he was, I dropped
...
this one, just like I do with any series when I think to myself that I'm no longer interested in what's going to happen. Despite being short, I didn't see the point of going through the rest of it.
Some things that I think it's worth mentioning.
The animation has a lots of ups and downs. And really ups and downs. That's because while at some moment the designs, color pallets and actions are amazing, on the other hand, some scenes are roughly made, with some "puppets", literally 3D puppets moving in the background just for the sake of adding more people to the scenario, but with a raw design of what you see in the behind of scenes of animated movies.
And if you're a English speaker or has English as a second language and you don't understand Mandarin or whatever the language they're speaking, it's really hard to find a good sub out there, because most of the episodes are made with duo sub, meaning, you'll see a sub for Japanese people and for English speakers, and these too don't work together very well, which result in the subs going really fast on screen, making it really hard to follow the dialogues and the details delivered in form of exposition on the corner of the screen. I really find that a little troublesome, but that alone wasn't the reason why I decide to stop watching.
And overall, maybe you can sit through the end and decide for yourself whether it was worth or not, specially if you really like MMORPG games, and there are a bit of comedy here, but when you think some of the plot might be developed later, I was still waiting for it and decided that it took too long for me to get hooked.
So, of course this is a review that doesn't give credit for the entire material, but when you decide to drop something and you feel like explaining why, that's what reviews are for.

Well, I'm here to give you a short review of this anime since short was my experience with it. Now, don't jump too much ahead into thinking that I considered this anime a complete garbage. Well, as I mentioned, my experience was short because I didn't see the point of investing too much into this anime. At first, I really thought this would be a good show. One of the things that caught my eye at first was the intro, not only the song but the intro itself. It gave me some good vibes and the first few episodes helped keep the hype up. But
...
I find myself watching something that I was caring less and less.
Why? For me, in particular, one of the most turn-offs of this show was by the far the looooooong, extremely loooooooong amount of time they spend into detailing the complexity behind the spells used. I'm sure you've seen enough to know that the story takes place in a modern world a bit like our own where people learned how to use magic through technology. But this is what I thought was so poorly delivered. The amount of time and detail spent to explain to you a pseudo-science that doesn't even exist is so damn boring that you find the need to measure how much time you need to skip to get to the end of it. At one duel, the protagonist go to such lengths to explain what he did and how but really, why would you care? I'm sure there's a lot of real life physics behind it, but it just makes so much heavier than it could be that you can help but think how much more complex it will, thus the main reason why I decide to stop watching.
And the characters didn't help much either. At first, I really thought the protagonist and his incestuous sister (another point that I'm sure you will find a lot among the reviews) would evolve into something meaningful, but at some point I was getting the vibe that it wouldn't change that much (it's worth noting that this particular topic of my review shouldn't be considered a guiding light since I couldn't go pass the episode 9). The other characters also were kinda bland and cookie-cutter in comparison with other shows. (again, don't take this too seriously, since I didn't get to see much of it)
The story did show a lot of promise though. A world where magic plays a significant role in human relations and country politics, to the point where society, or at least the school where the story focus I guess, is divided into two groups according to their potentials.
But it didn't stick with me enough to disregard the other points I made.
Overall, I don't think everyone should completely consider it not worth watching, but I have so many other things that I want to see/read that I didn't think the time spent on this one would be worth it. But if you get yourself into it, go for it. I'm sure that are some things that you'll find enjoyable in this one, if you can ignore the huge amount of exposition behind almost every aspect of magic and incestous relationship between the main characters.

I'm gonna keep this review short and simple, just as my time spent watching this anime was. I may not have all the information necessary to craft a thorough review because I couldn't go beyond the sixth episode. At first glance, I really enjoyed the main protagonist, his personality as a whole, the dramatic set around the theme of cooking which was enjoyable at first but then just got repetitive. When I found myself watching just for the sake of watching in order to know what would happen, I decide that it wasn't entertaining anymore, so I just dropped. So far it feel too predictable
...
that I dare to say that I know how this story will go to the very end, cause everything so far was too cliche in terms of anime. We got the positive, never give up, I'm gonna make it to the top protagonist that impresses everyone around him despite his history, the know-it-all, I'm the best, I'm a goddess, everyone bow to me female....Erm, antagonist I'd say, who I also dare to say is gonna eventually fall in love with the protagonist, because of plot, and while at first the huge number of characters didn't bother me at first, added to the rest of the things I said didn't help me push through. So I just stopped watching and don't feel at all like finishing it.
