+Both shows follow the story of a group of characters from a bigger organization that fights against unknown monsters. +The main character is considerably weak in comparison and has to fight with cunning and strategy, but not strength, against his opponents. +Also, they hide a secret related to using the power of their enemies against themselves. (Spoiler) In the case of Kafka, is his capacity to turn into a kaiju, and Osamu, the neighbor origin of Kuga and Hyuse, their most powerful members of his team. +Some weapons and abilities in both shows are kinda similar, also fight styles and classes, is even interesting to see how both shows portray a similar type of fighter (Kirie and Kikoru for example) +We also have a variety of monsters on both sides, monster-like Neighbors are less prominent in later episodes, but initially, we have a good amount of them. -Well, the animation. Kaijuu 8-gou's quality is just another league, and World Trigger's animation was already limited by its time. -The humor of both shows is completely different, besides a few jokes, World Trigger is usually more suitable for all audiences. -And yup, the monsters and designs in in Kaijuu are far more crude and disgusting, while in World Trigger are way simpler and basic. Not better or worse, just different. Could be shocking watch them, one beside the other. However, I believe World Trigger is along with Fire Force! The must-watch if liked Kaijuu 8-gou. Give it a try, boys!

Both shows are "Dark Mahou Shoujo" exponents, showing us "magical girls" in a really obscure scenario that involves death, blood, suffering, and psychological damage to the main characters. The girls are in real risk to die and villains are genuinely evil, also, some "allied" characters are not particularly "good ones", having some psychopathic or evil attitudes. For both shows being a magical girl is more a curse than a gift. also, yuri implications

Similar style of animation and humor sense, the plot turns around an all-female cast in a slice of life scenario, also there are some "soft" yuri implications on the character dynamics. Bonus: Miya-nee had some resemblance with Hannen from Slow Start
