The movie is great. The art was a bit lacking at one specific moment which lowered the overall review rating from a 9 to an 8. The emphasis on the environment could have been stressed sooner. Sad that its unfinished; though, c'est la vie. Like I said, the movie is great, it meets the criteria of depth, containing a deeper meaning as well as a clear, front-facing romance movie. The main character, Hodaka drops several hints throughout the movie on the greater philosophical meaning behind the movie. A parting hint; take a look at the symbol on Hodaka's cap given to him by Mr Suga.
