I agree with the rest of the comments that XXHOLIC is not as good as it appears to be, there are better chapters, and other very boring ones where barely anything happens, I don't know exactly how to explain it but it is as if the story was not written at all, It reminds me of other unfinished works by Clamp.

For me, what kept me going the most were its characters, I think that is the strong point, each one has their personality and they are very different from each other, but the main plot barely comes to light, therefore it is an entertaining series ... to watch time, with paranormal episodes like any other series of this style, reminded me of the zack file. There is a chapter that reminded me of Fushigi Yugi. I don't know if more viewers have noticed.

It also has connections with other series such as Tsubasa reservoir chrnicles but it barely takes advantage of this coincidence. In short, I think that xxxholic is a series that has good ideas but in the end is not able to translate them onto the screen.

I found this series much more boring than the previous one. The cards don't feel as exciting.

They have erased the personalities of the characters, especially Sakura and Shaoran.

Sakura was a happy and outgoing girl while in this new season she is too shy, she gets embarrassed all the time, Shaoran was already quiet but now I find him much more and I thought it was bad that he didn't tell Sakura what is happening. In general I found the dialogues very boring.

In short, this new series seems to be trying to be more refined than the first and ends up being boring, they only talk ... about food. There are no truly exciting or emotional moments to remember

In my opinion they should have made a new Sakura movie or some OVA instead of such a long series where most of the episodes are reminders of the first and second seasons.

This show entertained me a lot, it has very charismatic characters and it is a good summary of how money corrupts people, the obsessions and desires of each person become nightmares for others.

They also show the most toxic part of human relationships, lies, deception, manipulation, being possessive. There is political corruption, fake news, depravity of the rich.

I think that in the artistic and development part of the series it had much more potential than it ultimately offered, however it entertains you from beginning to end. The drawings are pretty ugly at first but then they get better.

In summary, if this series had been better written, ... the script had been more thought out, each chapter could have been on par with Death Note or Cowboy Bebop, also if they had invested more in the animation

The visual section of this anime is very beautiful, very well set and detailed. My favorite places are the house of the lady where Emma works and the crystal palace.

I thought it was a nice romance between Emma and William, their meetings at Mrs. Sownar's house, the way they met, but as the story progresses it became repetitive and monotonous, it seems as if Emma was worried at all times about the social position between her and William, she barely lets herself be carried away by her love for him and that is very boring to me, I would have liked more displays of love ... between the two, plus the lady agreed on their relationship and even encouraged her. She felt paralyzed all the time, barely speaking with anyone, it was as if she had given up the battle from the beginning.

At first I thought that her serious and strict manner was due to Mrs. Sownar's upbringing, but I was wrong, Emma is like that.

I would also have liked to see a subplot, for example with Hakim, he seemed like a very charismatic character.

In short, I think the story had a lot of wasted potential.

I thought this anime was going to improve in this new season, but in the end I preferred the first season, the plot becomes very confusing and too many coincidences occur. The argument of the first is more balanced.

I think William and Emma are two characters made for each other, that's why I think I would have preferred the two more determined characters to be next to each other, living in the house of the lady from the beginning, for me it would be the appropriate ending.

My opinion I think they unnecessarily lengthen the plot, I would have liked them to delve deeper into Hakim's ... character, he is a very interesting character, much more sincere.

I don't understand why they made a ship between Masane and Takayama, all the misfortunes that happen to her are because of his weapons company, plus he forces her to fight and that's putting your life in danger.

I didn't like this new season as much as the previous one, it seemed too dramatic for me, they eliminated a certain character that from my point of view was essential, most of the characters are quite boring, they don't add anything to me and by eliminating this character it gets worse.

I also see a lack of continuity between the first season and this one makes no sense how the protagonist's feelings evolve when they are very clear in the first season.

As a positive point, both the animation and character design are much better, although the humor of the first one has also been lost.

In ... short, I think the first season is much better, this one did not seem depressing and boring.
