A show, so mediocre and clichée in nature, not even I as SAO trash could bear finishing it. It has some minor moments where you can actualy have fun and like often it has a decent plot that could've been made into something okay. But everything about this just screams "copy and paste the things that every other show does".
Like you have the widemouthed, crazy punk fuck cringe ass emo that is mean and evil for no reason.
You have the rich but cute yandere that instantly falls for the main protagonist.
You have the dramatic father with an ill daughter that is a psycho straight up
...
but actualy turns super nice the instant he's defeated.
You have the emotionaly unstable psycho loli with a split ability.
You have the other, not so loli but still loli weirdo that has 900 IQ and is just a dead copy of Victorique deBlois
and lastly of course you have the super powerful crazy nr. 1 ranked that abducts our main character for her masterplan.
It just hurts to see this much mediocricy in one show.

This show... my lord. How do I put this?
Whilst looking like a really enjoyable show from the outside, soon reveals to be so mediocre and clichée in every way, that its simply gross. You cannot say this is a good show and be serious.
Story:
The Story revolves around a society after the great catastrophy 12000 years before, that uses the magical powers of certain people (elementalpowers) to power something called "Aquaria"s. Except for our maincharacter, that - obviousely, why tf now - somehow summons "AquariON". This is supposedly a hidden, secretive aquaria evolution - hence the name. But somehow half of the cast knows about it
...
anyways. Good job.
Fights? Stunning on first glance, yet so predictable, clichée and cringe you can't really take them serious. Latest when they break their own rules of their own internal storytelling and pull stuff like "bowing in the middle of a fight to tell someone you love them" (which in all seriousness looks just so ridiculous, especially when they show that supposedly epic logo thingy for it that you know from every 90's japanese show like powerrangers, where they name their special ultimative forms), despite knowing them for like 2 days time total (yes, they were seperated).
Feels like a mess already right? Cause thats literarely all it is.
Art:
Well, what a shame. The animation is fluid, virbant and very nice. The CGI elements fit well and seem well grounded. What a waste on such a terrible show.
Sound:
Both the Opening and the Ending are gorgeous. They are really energetic and powerful, uplifting and set a good mood. But that the op is played literarely twice every episode at least (because it plays every god damn time they transform) is just annoying. The OST is good, some of the tracks are outstanding, some of them really just repetitive and most of them are just good. Nothing more, nothing less.
Characters:
We have
- Dramatic main bitch with hidden background story and secretive mystic power for no fucking reason #1 (male)
- Dramatic main bitch with onii-chan complex and no apparent reason for her behaviour besides a trauma cause she was that one useless kid in her family (oh boi...). Oh and she's really really flat - both in appearance and in character depth. And she's a tsundere. What could possibly go wrong, right?
- A bunch of super stereotypical, unrealistic and useless cast members that really dont fulfill any other purpose but to set the scene for embarrasing moments in fights and fillers during the episodes.
Enjoyment:
If you want to decrease your cognitive abilities, give it a try, It works wonders.
Overall:
Well, it really is just bad. A completely wasted opportunity, considering they certainly had enough budget to make it a good show.

This review is **SPOILER FREE**
The ToAru franchise has caught me by storm back when I started watching anime. It just had this certain "something" from the getgo, that kept me entertained. I couldn't express how excited I was when I heared about all the news about the new anime adaptations coming in 2019: so then, why am I so disappointed?
Sidenote: I've seen the entire ToAru franchise (5 seasons including the new "ToAru majutsu no Index III" (up to episode 19). I've rewatched the previous installments multiple times, both in release order and chronological order and I've bought all the source material (Lightnovels + Mangas). I
...
know what I'm talking about when I say that this season wasted pretty much all its potential so far.
The ToAru Franchise takes place in a world, where magic and science have long both been part of our daily lives. One much more than the other, as the magical side tends to work hidden rather than open. In the most advanced city in the world "Gakuen Toshi" or "Academy city" millions of students live in "peace and harmony", where they train their supernatural powers as espers. However, the mascerade of this city is nothing more but a construct of illusions: Human laboratories, clones, warfare and abductions as well as murder all take place in the darkest places of this brightest city. Its a world doomed by the illusion, that with great power, great responsibility follows and that people will use their power to protect those, that can't do it themselves. Its sadly an Illusion, that Touma (male protagonist) has to destroy. Sacred with the mysterious power to negate any supernatural force by simply touching it with his right arm, the "Majutsu" branch follows his daily life as he keeps getting involved in these dark, brutal things that take place in this city and how he has to give it his all to fight back and protect those that are close to him.
The ToAru franchise is filled with intruiging plots and sidestories that all come together to one big clash. Again and again. No matter how weird it seems, it always ends up in something way bigger than you originaly expected. This however is sadly also why the anime adaptation of this genius series often sucks ass. Excuse my words.
Due to the sheer size of source-material and its complexity, a H U GE part of the entire narrative gets lost in its adaptation - even with 24 episodes per season. Some arcs may be lighter than others but in general you'd need at least 10 - 12 episodes per arc. Often times sadly they get broken down in 4 - 6.
Story: 5
The story itself would get a straight 10/10 from me. But sadly the series cuts so much material that its just confusing - even after you read 17 goddamn lightnovels about it.
Art: 7
It looked pretty decent in the beginning but it suffers from its rushed nature and often times you have a very neatly animated clash only to be followed by a static close-up battle and an "evil explanation of why they have to destroy the world for the greater" for 5+ Minutes (once again, its just too rushed...)
Sound: Oh lord. I loved the new sounddesign, instantly felt in love with it when the first episode aired of this new season. It also has a lot more epic OST and some absolute banger OPs. So why not 10/10 or at least 9? Simply because there are some soundtracks that are nice to listen to - maybe for 20 seconds. But you'll hear the looped for the entirity of 5 minutes whilst someone has a monologue about their motives and past.
The VA did an amazing job - especially "Accelerator" is just insanely (hehe~) talented ;)
Character: Standart bunch of okay characters. Could've been a lot better but pretty much all their detail gets lost - once again - in its rushed nature.
Enjoyment: 10/10 cause boi, why would I spend 500 Dollars on source material if it ain't good? Its my fravourite series of all time and I'd love to see it come alive as an anime more lively. But this installment just falls flat because it cuts so much source off and keeps having very blunt moments stretched out to eternity.
Overall: 7
Yeah. I'd love to give it a higher rating but this season falls very flat compared to the previous ones (especially considering that the sidebranch "ToAru kagaku no railgun has a waaaaay better anime adaptation)

As one life ends, another starts. A classic, nearly cliché-like idea in modern writing. Still. Thats not what has lead to my absolute dislike of this series. It was how terribly executed it was. This review contains spoilers however thats not a problem as hopefully you will not watch this if you have any respect for good writing.
If you just want to have a good action-thriller or something like that, watch something else. Normaly I put my recommendations at the end but because the following is a deconstruction of how incredibly shitty this show was, I'll be so kind and tell you right now
...
some shows that actually make sense:
Zankyou no Terror
Baccano
Durarara
Black Bullet (kinda at least)
Darker than black
Btooom
Shinsekei Yori
Higashi no Eden
The plot:
The story of "Phantom: Requiem for the phantom" takes place somewhere inbetween 2000 and 2010. It tells the story of "Zwei" (german for two), a japanese student that was caught in the middle of a fight of an organisation called Inferno. He was however spared, as our classic villain with the desire to create the perfect assasin found him and saw "raw potential" in him and his instinctive strength to kill and survive. We also get to know "Ein" (german for one, although it would be eins if the writer had known any german and not used google-translate). She is - unlike Zwei, a lot less talented. However she is the perfect doll as she seemingly has completely lost her will to resist the orders of "master scythe". The story follows the "tragic" life of our cast as they have to face death, crime, injustice and so on.
Story:
At first, Phantom delivers a solid action-thriller. A very, very strong first episode that makes us ask "why, who and what happend". Sadly, the writer basicaly solves the entire mystery after 2 respectively 5 episodes. Wow. After that we have to witness a slow decline in credibility and logic until in episode 10 and 11 we look at the screen and ask ourselves: "What the fuck even?"
Examples of this absolute nonsense are the following: meaningless, unrealistic plottwists like the sacrifice of ein to protect her master are just dumb. You see her standing in a waiting-position BEHIND Zwei as he faces the master, he screams (ofc he followed him like 2 minutes in steady 10 meter distance to face him off in an epic, mysterious deadend aka the end of the port). And no, he does not wait, he shots at the master. But "HEY LETS FORGET ABOUT FUCKING LOGIC FOR A SECOND" aka ein magicaly teleports infront of Zwei, jumps infront of the master and saves him from the bullet. (btw we see that the shot went through her body in later episodes but okay, it then must have stoped in midair inbetween her and the master and droped to the ground). Zwei loses his shit and instead of killing the master he has a mental breakdown. The master then shoots him three times in the chest from basically 1 meter or less with a high-caliber gun. We also see that he has shot him in the middle of the chest. Zwei gives no fucks about that, falls into the sea, gets transported to the beach (btw the water would've filled his lungs and he would0ve just drowned as he was still alive when he fell into the water) where the waves cover him entirely (so that he sure as hell must be dead because he also couldn't breath).
Oh wait, what did you say? He survived it? AND EIN TWO? Oh boy how could I forget about that they have mastered ultra instinct (yes, they avoid bullets from machine guns mid-air in earlier episodes) AND survive direct hits to the heart AND don't need air to survive AND return to the places they hate the most. Yeah. We all do that to from time to time, don't we?
Even if you forget about these "smaller" things or the wtf moments like when the characters somehow manage to overcome all problems and do some absolutely impossible things like jumping 3 meters high; its very clear, that the show has major flaws in writing and it looks as if they had a solid foundation and then a very, very untalented writer.
Art:
Not much to say. The animation was very nice, especialy in the beginning. It felt fluent for the most part, featured lovely backgrounds and solid character design. Tho at times the CGI was a bit odd (can be forgiven for a show from 2009 tho).
Sound:
Its an absolute shame this show is such garbage beceause the soundtracks sure as hell weren't. An absolutely stunning OP, a very strong ED and to top it all: a fitting, atmospheric OST. I wish more shows had such an amazing sound. The voiceacting was good, nothing very remarkable tho. The english dub is also pretty good.
Character:
Oh boy. Just no. Let me introduce you to the cast once more:
"Ein" aka kudere-girl that has somehow NO will to get back her memories and merely exists to give us a reason for Zwei to betray everyone.
"Zwei" aka our classic protagonist with no deeper meaning, a very strange character development from super scared to super scary to super badass to super bad fucked in the ass. After he loses "Ein" he adopts a little girl and helps her seek revenge for her dead sister (except they probably didn't even kill the right murderer.)
"Drei" (german for three, I guess you see the pattern here by now), the adopted girl that loved Zwei over everything but then decided that she would follow our villain and kill zwei because he "let her back dead" when really she was in dispair and hopelessness because she lost her only family like 10 minutes earlier in the show.
"Scythe Master", a classic villain with no real reason besides to be the villain.
"Claude" aka super weird lady with the will to kill everyone in her gang because she wants to climb the ladder of power (something that her dead brother never could) and merely exists to give zwei a reason to kill and to present some fanservice. You know they knew the show must be bad if they depend on fanservice in mid-show after they realized their show has nothing more to present besides boobies)
The "gang" aka a big group of random evil mafia-gangsters, yakuzas and triade-members that build the foundation of the ultimative, evil group of "inferno"
Yeah, you get it. The characters are shit. At first however they seem very interessting (including ein - zwei - drei) but they soon lose all credibility and become very unlikable. Oh did I already mention that Drei went from "super loli that can't possibly be older than 13" to "women that looks like 25 - 30 with the will to kill everyone without reason" in 2 years? Great, isn't it. Its like as if after they killed boobie-sponsor 1 they needed someone else so they decided to make drei into the boobie-sponsor of the last arc.
Enjoyment:
Man, I wish this show was better. I wanted to drop it after ep 11 but kept watching. I just had that hope, that it would take a 180 degree turn and deliver a solid second half. And it did - for around 4 episodes, then it went downhill even more than before.
Its somehow sad to say but I'd rather watch Kiss x Sis than this because there at least I know what I can and should expect.
Overall:
Decent at best. Not recommended. If you like action-thrillers, watch something else.

Where do I begin? Shingeki no Kyojin - Attack on Titan for all you none-diehard weebs, is a story of betrayal, revenge, hope and the fight for a life in peace.
This Review will only contain [ MINOR SPOILERS ]
Synopsis:
Well over 100 years ago, humanity was facing a new enemy. An enemy so terrifying and cruel, unlike anything ever seen before. The titans - genderless beasts of unknown origin - dedicated to erradicate humankind from this world. Hiding within the safety of the walls, the last people of humanity are seeking shelter, waiting for the titans to vanish. Life seems to be fine, the days
...
of fear seem to have passed, when on a fateful day the collosal titan appeared. Its steamy, massive head looking over the seemingly endless walls, gazing into the eyes of the humans, it brought death once again. Humanity was defeated and had to abandon one of three walls. What are they? Why do they come and devour our beloved ones? Who sent them? Why do they only die if you cut their nape? Questions over questions but noone seems to have any answers. But the biggest mystery is yet to be discovered: what causes Eren Jäger to shift into a titan himself? Gifted with this dual bladed power he seeks for revenge for his mother that had to die on this darkest day in human history. Will he be able to defeat them and return to his home in the outer wall? Can he save his friends? And what happened to his father...?
Story:
One of the most impressive parts of SNK is its story. Filled with details that slowly build up to plot twists, searching for competitors, this story captures the rawness of this dark world. Not only does it keep surprising you - the twists this story does are insane. Anyone who's up to season 2 will agree with me on this point.
There are some small flaws, but I think we just have to ignore them for once as it is nearly impossible to write a story without encountering these kinds of flaws. However, I don't know of any major errors in terms of timeline, storytelling or plotholes. Cause normally, if the is a plothole, time will come when Eren brings a big, fat boulder on his shoulders to fill the gap ;)
Art:
The art style is very unique. It features lots of details, is consistent and very captivating. Even more impressive is the animation. Dynamic and vivid the series tells its story in stunning fighting scenes. The hard shadows empathize this horror feeling I get when watching the series.
Sound:
Hiroyuki Sawano
That's all you need to know, trust me. Even if you don't like this series, the OST is just beyond perfection. The original sound is just as impressive. The power and sheer will when they scream, talk, cry and fight is giving me goosebumps. Combined with the phenomenal, no - legendary - ost and the outstanding quality in animation, this show gives you chills for the rest of the day. It's like a drug: with each fight, the emotions proceed and the kick when you see them beating the shit out of the Titans or the cast getting slaughtered is just addictive as hell.
Character: Unlike its sequel the first season falls a bit flat in terms of character development. Don't get me wrong: the characters are all interesting in their very own way and I felt bad for every one and each that had to leave us time after time. But there is just something missing, a bit of emotional depth to some of the cast. I'm happy to tell you, that the second season did a way better job at this.
Enjoyment:
Its one of these shows, that will define the world of Anime for future generations. Lets be honest here: even if you do not like SNK a lot or at all, it is undeniably a fascinating show that has brought a lot of attention from the western world to this amazing medium and has shown once more, that Anime at its best is a artform, just as respectable as the known ones and that it is anything but "for children".
I cought myself waiting for every episode, nearly jumping around on my bed when I smashed that reload button and when it finaly appeared, I often couldn't stop myself from screaming in pure joy... yeah, I was and I am hyped for this.
Overall:
Despite beeing better than some of my 10/10 rated titles, this show is not perfect. But it is very close. In fact it would get 10/10 if we didn't have to wait FUCKING 4 years for the second season just to be turned down with a 12 episode thingy. That hurt me alot back in 2017.
Conclusion:
Is this show for beginners? YES! This is a perfect start for any newcomer to the anime genre and will hopefully open your heart and mind for this wonderful medium.
Do I recommend this show? Yep, totaly.
What word describes this show the most?
"Thrilling"
If you liked SNK you may also like:
Neon genesis evengelion (pretty similar world, setting, vibes)
Elfen Lied (gore, ost, thrilling)
Koutetsujou no Kabaneri (Same Artstyle, great ost too, very similar concept of lost world)

This Review is [ S P O I L E R F R E E ]
Plot:
Violet Evergarden, raised alone in darkness and lonelyness is a wartorn veteran, only 15 years old. Not much details about where she came from is reveiled until now, however its safe to say, that Violet never had a place she could call home besides the battlefield. After the end of the war, now lost and not able to understand, who she actually is, she remembers the last words of her Major, the only person in her life, who ever stayed with her: "Live.
...
Live free. I love you."
To understand this deep feeling inside her, that these words awoke, she begins to write letters. Letters for people, who have lost their words somewhere or still can't write.
Where do I beginn? This show is hard to capture, hard to understand and although it clearly has its flaws, it manages to captures something, that is very rare among animes. For almost 1 1/2 Years I've been waiting for this show to come out and when it first aired, I couldn't be more fascinated. Not ever before, not even in an anime movie, I got to see such beauty.
For now, I'd say that my review is NOT completed. It can't. The show didn't finish yet so I can't possibly write a full review on it. However I think for what we've seen until now, its clear to say, that Violet Evergarden will be on the Anime of the Decade list. If not for its very human and realistic approach of a journey to selfacceptance, then for its way of showing us this world. Sometimes it are the very small things in life, that give it its bittersweet spice, other times we encounter something, that shapes us. May it take 10 years, may it take 50 years. On one fateful day we all have to decide, who we are. Who we want to be. And until this day come, we are on our journey. The journey which starts somewhere before the beginning and ends somewhere after our death.
Story:
Although I find the very realistic and tender approach of the world in which Violet Evergarden finds herself unbelievably beautyfull, I see a big problem at the beginning of this show, that might return in later episodes. It lacks of depth for other people. While each character introduced gets his very own chapter with and by the side of Violet, we do not really get to see what the world for them looks like. Each episode just ends with the fact, that these persons find their luck and joy again. What the story does not tell us is for how long. This is the problem; I do not think that a single meeting for sometimes a few days, sometimes maybe 2 or 3 weeks can truely change a persons life forever. And even if it does; what then. Will they remain lucky and joyfull forever? No. Of course not. Thats not how life works. Violet Evergarden however tries to lull us with this premiss. Its a hit or miss; if you can connive this, then the show will make you happy. Happy in a way, that no other show probably can and will. BUT, for some people (me included up to a certain point) this is a real issue. And it kinda ruines the mood you got after each episode. Therefore I had to deduct a point here. The other one got removed because of some really annoying stereotypical moments that didn't fit.
Art:
Well there's nothing to say. The animation is fluid as fuck, the visuals probably the best ever in any anime series as well as movie and the cinematography is an absolute beast. KyoAni really pushed the limits with this one to the next level (as if they weren't already like 10 steps ahead of all other studios tho xD)
Sound:
The Soundtracks are beautiful and make me happy >^< I like the dub as well as the original very well (German, french and english were taken into account)
Character: Until now all we got to see was Violet. Don't get me wrong, she's a very interesting character, but she defenetely needs some more depth. If not, I will have to come back and deduct another point here. For the other characters: They have interesting background stories but aren't really anything very remarkable (we also only see them for one episode or at the beginning/end). If this changes, I will also adapt my review.
Enjoyment:
Well I waited for 1 1/2 years. I guess you can say that I was hyped (and I fucking still am)
Overall:
To be concluded

First things first:
I liked Dantalian no Shoka quite a lot. BUT it is some sort of hate-love. At one point I almost threw my phone in pure anger at the wall.
Plot:
Dantalian no Shoka follows the story of our two two main characters Dalian, a seemingly childisch, tsundere like but very mysterious and intelligent girl and an ex-military pilot, Hugh Anthony Disward, also known as Huey. Huey unexpectedly inherits a giant mansion from his uncle. As a former book lover he decides to visit it as soon as possible and quits his piloting job. Within the endless towers of books he finds a young girl,
...
dressed in Gothic/Victorian dresses. She explains him, that she is the "black princess of Dantalians mysterious library. On their quest to find and store socalled "phantombooks", Books and texts that contain paranormal powers all scattered around the world, they meet various persons. The entire story happens around 1918 and 1920 (estimated)
Disclaimer:
This review is "S P O I L E R F R E E" (excpetions of names and general informations)
Story:
Oh boy, where do I start. The story begann unbelievably strong. A first episode, that truely captured me with every frame. But as time passed by, more and more of the beautiful facade begann to cramble away and uncovered the very raw und undefined core of the story.
Not only do we encounter one stereotypical plottwist after another. We also beginn to ask ourselves: "How? Why". As the show tries to make our characters seem caring and prudent over their actions, it makes them seem fucking dumb. Especially Huey has to suffer under this decision, as he often is displayed as a very generic and kinda dense character. This is however a great contrast to his true nature, indicated at various points.
The story is devided into 12 Arcs of their own, each covering one Phantombook.
And the arcs vary greatly in how pleasing their storytelling is. Some are truely fascinating, others are mere bullshit and pain for the viewer. I will not go into to much detail here, just keep in mind, that you will have to bring a lot - and I mean A LOT - of patience when watching this show.
Art:
This is kinda hard. I wanted to give the show a 9 for its art, then hesitated. Although there is a very consistent art and animation and some scenes are extremely beautiful, they seemed to be a bit lazy at times. Of course, reusing the same frames from time to time makes sense. However it is just lame to see the sequence of Huey accesing the mysterious library of Dantalia every episode in the exact same frames. They literarely just copy and pasted the sequence whenever he gets permission to use Dalian's Library.
BUT, take the op of the show as an example: its hard to deny, how beautiful the scenery is and the setting is an absolute beast in terms of ambiance.
Sound:
Nothing to be added. The OST is phenomenal, probably one of the best I've ever heared. Listen for an example to the OP and this song:
https://youtu.be/j5VRIQtyQyU (from episode 12)
Now tell me, can an OST get any better?
I don't think so.
Character:
Huey was a very interesting Character at first, but soon turned into your average, generic sidekick. On the other hand there was a very nice background story later revealed, that gave him some extra depth (and he needed it very badly)
Dalian is a very cute character. I can understand that a lot of people may dislike her very tsundere like behaviour but I found it kinda fit her pretty well. Her Design was refreshing and fits my taste very well. On the other hand some may hate her for beeing that "gothic loli with an eatingdissorder". Thats up to you.
Enjoyment:
I liked the show a lot, especially for its Mystery/Gothic theme (something that is sadly very rare in the world of anime). I recomend checking it out, but don't drop it after the 3 episodes rule: take your time and watch until episode 5 or so, then you'll be able to tell, if it fits your taste.
Overall:
Well, I liked it. But it got a lot of deductions for its poor handle of the concept and the fairly dense huey (I really had my hopes up that he would be more than the sidekick)
Overall this show tries to be a paranormal version of Gosick, but miserably fails at it.
If you liked this show, you may also like:
- Gosick
- Ergo Proxy
- Guilty Crown
- Shiki
- Rozen Maiden
Thats it for me folks. Cheers.

So I came with big expectations to this show. I really thought, that it would be funny - and the first episode did this job pretty good. But after that : it just became horrible.
I want you to know, that I even watched 7 episodes of this bullcrap, before writing my review. But with every episode the story became more and more a compilation of clichées and bad plotwist - no bad is not the right word. They were pathetic.
First of all, lets make a short Overview of the grid from my review:
[1] Story
[2] Artstyle & Logic
[3] Animation
[4] Sound
[5] Characters
...
[6] Enyojment
Okay so here it comes: Hidan no Aria, one of the most dissapointing animes ever to be watched.
1) The Story beginns somewhen in the 21. century - at least it seems like it does. Why does it only seem? Because they don't even give a complete watch over the city. Anyways: In order to stop the problem of upcomming crime there was a group called the "Buttei" founded. They are somekind of soldiers who work like the police in order to remain safety for the citizen. BUT they work for money. Well you know the police-officer from the neighbouerhood also gets his wage every month.
Most of them are children (don't ask me why - they probably think that it is cool)
No really - there is not a actual matter WHY they are still childern - it makes no sense in no way of sight. There are plenty of Girls wich are really really clichée-based and their characters are sooooo flat - a thing you can't tell about their chests. Yes: nearly every girl - no matter if she is just 14 or 18 years old - they all got tripple Z over 9000...
So then lets continue: The "Buttei" have a ranking based on their skill-levels. A concept that is so well known and there were so many ways to make it interessting: but they failed. It's just nonesense.
They have a problem - a self-claimed "Buttei-killer" is on his pseudo-bloody trip of ripping the buttei appart with doing terror-atacks. Oh yeah well you know - instead of just blowing random bikes up etc. you could just fuckin' blow up the whole island. Yes: the Buttei have built a artificial Island on wich they have built a giant school. What? Thats totaly normal.
After 7 episodes it just makes me wanna cringe and cut out my brain - the pain is just to much for me.
2) Okay so lets continue with the artstyle: It's okay. It's not something special, there are no real overthought color-palets or anything like that: they cust painted their world a bit with a standart 24bit color-program. And it doesn't even match. Yes I know - its from 2011 and digitla-painting wasn't as developed as nowadays. BUT there are shows from 2006 wich did a better job at this - so its just failing also on this point. There are some detail-works - especially on the bra's or skirts of the girls.
Then there are a huge amount of logic fails: okay - you don't know wich I mean? Let me tell you some of them:
Episode 1: a girl jumps from a roof of a building with about 7-8 floors. That would be about 30 meter. Yes. She jumps - falls about 1-2 seconds and THEn opens her parachute. She would have ended as sludge on the concrete.
Then there are these moments when they shot. Okay I understand they are super high equiped and trained killer-elite fuckers. BUT: how can you manage to avoid a bullet at 1400 feet or nearly 500 km/h. With a distance of about 15 metets (episode 1 or 2) or even less (episode 4,5,6) they would have to react within 0.1 to 0.036 seconds. WELL FUCK.
Also: you can't cut a bullet in halfes with a sword or a knive and even if you would manage to do some with idk your magical-dick-mode or whatever he uses (yes he has to get horny to get into that mode) : They bullet would not fly apart that fast that it wouldnt hurt you. It you still rip you apart cause of a distance of aproxiamtely 0.25 meters (farthes) or less (more logical).
Then - yeah of course if a car flips it explodes instantely. NO IT DOESN'T.
A bomb with about 3500cc of plastic-explosives - yeah of course it makes a 60 meters high fountain of water and a explosion of more than 30meters in diameter when exploding UNDERWATER. No... jsut no. Please die whoever decided to make this happen.
3) They where okay. The main animation was still acceptable - but the cgi. They used standart-explosion animations from things like windows-movie-maker in a DRAWN world. They didn't even manage to draw a plane of so - they animated it: and they did horrible.
4) Well the original-synchro is okay. You can't really say something bad about it, I don't have to rage on this one. BUT the opening soudntrack for example: it is just shit. IT's soooo dreadfu and aaah no I just can't stop bleeding from my ears when hearing it. Sorry but I had to skip it after the first time in order to protect my ears from getting cancer.
5) There are no really special characters. They have no real story wich is somehow new or even interessting: they just packed a train full of shit and let it go - and it crashed and hell yeah: it crashed hard. Every-single girl in the show is a over-sexualized version of a doll with giant boobs, no real character nor a development. They are just useless. Then: oh yeah the boys, The main-character is okay. Not good but also not as poor as the rest. You can life with him. Only thing: why didn't he jsut shot the fucking girl when she was starting to tell her evil-plan and her relation to his brother Nii-san and the EU. Oh ps: thanks for pulling the European Union into dirt ;) I'm sure you didn't even overthing what the EU is. Anyways. All the other boys are not even there to be a part of the story. They are just fillers to tell bad news or make horrible comedy. Do you get it? It's a harem with bad action, clichée girls, shit story, plotholes of the doom, forced and bad plottwists, appealing music and hell of a lot pain for my brain.
6) The first episode was really okay - i even laughed. But afterwards it becomes really bad. I mean - really really bad.
I'd rather watch Euphoria than this show.
I think they did a horrible job. They had a well known but still interessting concept but they've ridden it with full speed into a wall and then tried to make a show out of the bit's of crap that was left.
2/10 overall
