Paying just to watch a recap, nah man.
This movie was really a let down, I expected to see something different compared to what i watched in the first season, but over 80% of this movie is just stuff everyone already watched but a bit more from Nagi's POV, I expected to see something more "In-Depth" about Nagi, but there was nothing literally.
The whole time i was in the movie theatre my reaction to most of the movie was "Oh, but I already watched this".
To be fair I don't see the point of this movie at all, could've just made it an OVA.

When you watch this in a cinema it really hits, good atmosphere, very solid animation, however...
I think it felt way too short, all over the place and rushed, I felt like I was just dropped in the middle of the game where I barely know what happens, I really love Haikyuu and binged all 3 seasons, So many emotions throughout the series, but this time was different, it was supposed to be a very important match where you really feel the pressure, but it wasn't as I expected.
Don't get me wrong, overall it was still pretty good, it's not a total letdown or whatever, but
...
personally I expected more, I expected that the movie would transmit more emotions to the public, I expected that I would feel the excitement of both teams, like I did in season 3 vs Inarizaki.
What the movie lacked the most was IMPACT, because it felt way too much like a regular match and not like a decisive battle, I still felt goosebumps to some moments and it was awesome, but in the end it still didn't rose to my expectations.
I'm pretty sure most of us remember the iconic block of Tsukki vs Ushijima, that scene had TONS of impact, it was heavy, it was so hype that makes you jump from your seat, well this movie lacks such moments and it's a shame.
Overall I give it a 7/10 As I said, I still enjoyed it, but not to the extent I hoped, or maybe I'm just lying to myself because I paid money to watch it, I don't know. It could've been way better if we had a 2h movie at least.

"A single lie can save someone... A single lie can gain you many new friends, A single lie can change your whole life"
So.. the anime teaches us that Lying = good? Not really, however, if that lie doesn't affect others and it helps you achieve your goals and basically your life depends on it, well...
I'm gonna say this from the beginning, this anime is not something special, not something revolutionary nor unique, it's a pretty average series with a fine art style. But does this mean it's bad? Not necessarily, it does have some interesting characters and some bland ones but i would say
...
it's bearable.
The story did not really progressed that much in these 12 episodes, somehow I'm fine with it, rushing series, even if 12 episodes it's bad(Although in some aspects the anime rushed way too fast, like the development of romantic feelings for certain characters). So our Hiroto is searching for a childhood friend, the whole point of him being on that Island is to search for that certain friend, but sadly in a whole season this topic is not touched almost at all nor he does any progress into actually searching, this pretty much gives me Classroom of the Elite vibes, playing mind games, manipulating, lying. Liar-Liar tries to combine all of these but sadly doesn't really succeed, many times the logic used for certain games doesn't make any sense, just made up things, like totally fantasy.
I would recommend this anime to people that are bored on a Saturday night and you don't really want to watch nothing psychological that requires you to squeeze your brain out , just you know, relax and enjoy, if you expect some awesome story and character development, etc, etc, i suggest you to not watch then, as i said above, Liar-Liar is pretty average, doesn't really stands out with nothing special besides the "waifus" that are not that many anyway.
So overall i give this anime a 7/10 that's more of a stretched out subjective score, because if i had to rate it objectively, i would say at best a 6/10 but if we ever get a season 2, it does have some potential.

Usually I'm against writing reviews for ongoing series, but this time I just have to, but I will try keeping it short.
Literally everything is close to perfection, the dialogues, character reactions, setting, all fells so natural that 20 minutes of content feels like 2-3 minutes.
The artstyle is really appealing and it fits pretty well the school theme, there's character development since early episodes, which is a really good sign, in many cases these kind of series with mainly school setting tend to be a bit boring and repetitive, but Skip to Loafer seems to bring something new each episode, the VAs doing a great
...
job as always, really expressive.
Spoiler warning below :
Seems like kind of a romantic trio is starting to form, but since Mitsumi is a bit dense, at least for now, she still doesn't realize it, I'm looking forward to see how this will evolve and how Mitsumi will get better at understanding people and their feelings, eventually discover Shima's secrets, a very good start from now, this season we have a hand of good anime.
