Samurai Flamenco is a hard show to pin down and give a really fair rating. Going in what my original interpretation was which was reinforced by the events of the first few episodes was that it was a show set out to answer the question of what it means to be a "superhero" in a world with no monsters, Evil villains, or aliens. and it does that following the protagonist as he dons the outfit of the original character "Samurai Flamenco" created by his grandfather as he sets out to enforce justice in the city which usually ends up with his getting beaten up. ... |
