Firstly, I want to start my sentences by saying that I haven't read the Light Novel in this movie.
The animation, the music and the theme of this movie are excellent. The mood of the characters is well shown. You can understand the character's movements which is a significant detail.
The animation gives a clear definition of the main character's condition. After his sister passed away, he developed depression and his family started having troubles. As a result, the main character believes that his existence is no longer significant.

longer, it could have been a better film in terms of telling the story. However, I enjoyed the first hour, I felt that we were experiencing the same emotions as the characters.
Overall, "The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes" did an adequate job for a 1.5 hour film, conveying the character development and the emotions of the characters well. As I said, I would have liked the film to be a bit longer for a better understanding of the story. At least they didn't create side characters and cram them in, which is a good thing for a rushed story.
