This manga is horrible. Do yourself a favor and support the anime and hope we can get an official NOVEL translation.
The story has been significantly dumbed down in favor of fanservice. Honestly, I do not mind the shows of lesbianism because they are present in the anime. However, this adaptation exaggerates the femalexfemale relationships while completely eliminating the malexmale ones.
You may argue that the relationship between Saki and Maria is more important than the one between Shun and Satoru. But there is no reason to have several pages dedicated to showing their naked (underage) bodies rubbing against each other.

Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch

These are definitely worth a read for any Code Geass fan. They give extra insight to the series and more depth to the characters. This novel series highlights a lot of the in between scenes that are referenced or mentioned in the anime. If you ever wanted to see things like more school moments, the times Lelouch and Nunnally spent at the Kururugi household, or things of that nature, I recommend the novels. The only out of character moment I can speak of is when Nunnally said "Bullshit". Of course, she was referring to the card game, but it was still quite strange.

I can understand why this special was kept separate from the rest of the anime. It's humorous nature didn't really fit the feel that the end of the first season held. But nonetheless, it's very good and any fan of the anime would love it.
It highlights the relationship between Yukimura and his retainers and shows how Shingen and Sasuke see him. This special is good for a great laugh if you're a fan of the passionate rivalry between Masamune and Yukimura, Sasuke's ninja antics, or the over-the-top-ness of that comes with anything associated with Sengoku Basara. Junjou Romantica OVA

This was a very nice treat, since the second season ended quite some time ago. The OVA is just three short stories of the three couples and they're all very cute and fluffy.
If you loved those cute moments in the anime and manga, you'll love this. If you're a fan of the more dramatic moments, this might not be for you, but still worth watching. Feb 2, 2013

Each girl has a different story, so anyone who's ever been in a relationship or liked someone can find someone to relate to. It's very good for light reading, especially if you're familiar with CLAMP's more emotion-heavy material.
Members also wrote personal experiences with love that relate to the stories which makes the experience more intimate because you are not just reading about 12 girls, but about the manga-ka themselves. |
