The art style and overall design is carrying every other aspect on its back and is the sole reason why I rated this higher than a 4. It gave off the feeling of a well done animation project and is pretty enjoyable, especially with how colorful everything is (even the character outline isn't a solid thin black line).
Everything else is just.. okay. There's really not much to spoil because there isn't much about the story anyway.
It's a nice time waster, at least. If you've just finished a groundbreaking anime and you want something to calm yourself down, this is a nice anime to pick up

It's a feel good anime. That's it. That's the review.
Alternative one-word review: Simple. Don't contribute to the tissue paper paranoia in the pandemic just yet--it's not heart wrenching nor is it THAT funny. It's as I've said--it'll make you feel good. It's something that you can watch to feel relaxed without being too overwhelmed about any suspense that may happen (hint: there aren't any, at least in my opinion). My second point is that the whole anime is simple. It really just is--simple shonen-marketed plot, simple message, simple style, simple characters. This isn't really that bad for those who are into more complex themes. Sometimes you have ... Nov 20, 2020

Have you watched titles like Uta no Prince-sama, Kamigami no Asobi, and the like? Do you enjoy them? If yes, you might enjoy this as well. If not, stay far away.
This anime shows the typical otome plot line, and every objective review for them may as well be recycled for this one. I guess I've grown out of this phase since I enjoyed the titles I mentioned above back when I was younger, but I found myself having a hard time finishing this one as I go on. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea anymore. It does meet the expectations of what it's marketed ... Apr 10, 2020

It stays true to its purpose, which is to basically be an animated PG-13 otome CD you can find clips of in YouTube, so I expected the cringe attacks. There's absolutely no story at all. Each episode focuses on a different guy trope in a different setting/situation.
I wasn't planning on checking this out, but the reviews and the seiyuu cast piqued my curiosity (especially after learning that each episode is at 4 minutes maximum excluding the opening theme). I enjoyed it despite the cringe-fest mainly because watching this reminded me of how much I loved otome CDs back in the day. Also gave me a ... Mar 27, 2020

I considered dropping this because majority of the episodes are painfully boring to the point that I started practicing pixel art while occasionally glancing back to the screen to read subtitles.
The idea is okay and was wrapped up nicely in the end, but the build-up needs a LOT of work. Could've been an 8/10 anime if they wrote it better. The worst part for me, personally, are the character introductions. They're all over the place, and if I didn't finish this I wouldn't have even known why they were introduced. My initial rating was a 4, but bumped it up to 5 for the ending. |
