jojo part 5 is a major dissapointment in every possible way.
araki did a complete 180 to the earlier parts of jojo, and even though change isn't always bad,i feel this was putrid.
Characters:
The characters were undeveloped and lacked charisma, they were given these sloppy 5 minute background stories and funny little quirks in hopes of giving the character some color, but after they're introduced and their stands are shown, half of them take a back seat to never speak until the last episode or just keep on fighting other stand users while not getting closer to their own goals because they never had any in the first place.the comraderie
...
shown on screen was 0 to none, and the only time they interacted with each other was either in fights or in that stupid turtle, to rendevue about their boring mission.so their friendship was never developed ,giogio remained a stranger for 39 episodes and for the rest of the crew, they already knew each other so that somehow makes us miss out on the biggest part of what made, jojo part 1,2,3 and 4 so good!
giogio was the worst main character of the series so far, having a very weak motivation to him only mentioned once the entire series while also taking a backseat to bruno(the real main character)the entire time,he didn't stand out at all besides having to constantly sacrifice his own body,to figure out the enemies weak point.i was expecting, with him having dio's and jonathan's blood to maybe have a dualism prespective of good and evil or something interesting to him but no,he's just a fucking gay healer.
Story/fights:
The story was also the weakest, with the first part of the story, of recovering the loot to become a cappo being an ok starting point but it dragged out for too long while being very anti-climatic.all that was happening were fights left and right and when that objective was done and they hopped into the next, the fights kept coming.that wouldn't be a complaint if they were good but they aren't.for the last 2 parts the stands have gotten staler and staler and what made up for it were the characters and how comical and ironic they were, but here, with them as blank as a womans personality,i only wanted the fight that were happening to be over asap, they got more complicated and less comical ,with the characters fighting just becoming an unironical explanation of each others powers and piercieng each other a million times until the villain dropped dead everytime, its like the earlier seasons were poking fun at this one.the 2nd part of the story was just as bad with the crew following bruno on a meaningless pursue of the boss, for wanting to kill his daughter.i see a stand-up guy like bruno not liking that, but the way araki went about writing it was ridiculous, because trish until that point was brushed off almost completely, but now bruno's supposed to care for her enough to sacrifice his entire crew that he so proudly calls family life on a whim with no chances at all of winning?!that is just silly writing.
And to top it all off,the final boss was very bad as well,he was supposed to be a mob boss but to me,was just a cheap two-face knock off ,having the dumbest trope in anime (split personality)and the most sorry final fight in jojo, with gio using two new tricks no one knew about before hand, not even him! to kill him in 2 punches, araki even had to bring silver chariot as a villain to spice it up a bit.
All and all jojo part 5 is very dissapointing,it wasnt bad but it was a series of overhyped fights that led to nothing.
and araki is a dickhead for turning polnareff into a turtle.

this manga has to be the hardest i've been trolled in my life smh ,i never made an organized review before so its gonna be ass but i gotta take this retarded manga out of my system.
the story from the first chapter never showed much promise but i was most certainly not expecting the writer to lose his brain halfway through the story,in the beggining he had a good plot going by having a loser protagonist who wanted to be a hero and was more than willing to do so but quickly after he met both female leads that was put in the background for
...
his horny fetishes that were a bore to get past and he only started on that self betterment journey again when the manga was at its final 3 chapters and it was total garbage, wasn't expecting anything but it was still worth noting how awful it was.the characters were 90% bland and lacked anything to make them noteworthy at all ,the writer took a big interest in making them edgy and radical as to portray how people would become after there's no authority to keep them in line but it was very badly portrayed in every group resistance.the only good character was the 21 yo hikikomori that gets rescued from kuroso, hideo isn't that bad either but for following him for 200 chapters he could've definetely been written better, after a while i got tired of his virgin persona and of him getting flustered at anything every 2 seconds. also his schizophrenia was also just thrown out of the window, women served as cum dumpsters and men were either shut in losers who needed an apocalypse to finally feel alive or some psycho's who aspired to rule the "new world" with no real plan ever to be explained.but the manga gropper was cool too ngl.
now to talk about what rlly makes this manga worthy of sitting through bad writing is the art! its perfect!! im quite new to manga but i loved all the amazing and humorous fight scenes and situations the characters were put into and it's the best i've read so far,the gore was also incredible and over the top but that was charming unlike it's writing.the scenery was also very well thought out and i was amazed at how beautifull it was, especially when the manga suddenly changed to the european countries to explain a bit of the zombies train of thought, talking about the zombies train of thought,it was cool how we got to see things from the zombies prespective and i think that once something's explained it becomes bland but here it actually got cooler, but unfortunately the writer didn't know where to go from then on and went the most generic way possible with the famous collective consciousness route xD.in the beggining they totally had me rolling when it was mentioned that the zombies were moving somewhere togheter but in the end it was all a huge dissapointment,i also thought the ending was horrible but since i stopped taking anything the manga threw at me seriously around chapter 150 it didn't dissapoint or surprise me at all , it's pretty lame that the writer went and stained his own work for what it seems just more money to keep the manga rolling but oh well, its his story not mine.3/10

This one's a doozie ,for starters the world building was not interesting or creative at all ,the whole fighting each other for who takes the crown plot is already used enough as it is and i don't think that's a bad thing but here it was done horribly, all those pannels where the characters were polliticking was super boring and not once did i understand who was who or wtf was going on,because the characters all looked alike and the dialogue was very confusing(might've been translation issues but i'm not sure),and while i was clinging to my feet to remember every single characters name and resemble
...
who was who because they all look alike, new one's kept popping in.
now let's talk about what matters here, the art.the art was second to none and that's what really makes this anime worth reading every single pannel is gorgeous and it rlly shows how much dedication the creator put into it.and the fights OHHH the fights,at first they were very confusing and were making very little sense to me bc either he was just bad at first or bc it took me a while to get used to reading them bc he used the blame approach where you basically have to fill in the blanks of the fight scenes and i wasn't getting it first, but when i did!!! perfect, they was pulling shit outta their ass ,slicing each other heads off like its nothing!really what made the manga stand out.the main story was just a generic holywood revenge story that even a toddler could create but the author did make some good characters like batu but and yaki, and i think it started great and simple but the further it went the more confusing it got for no reason, seems like he was still going with no plans of what was going to happen next, the most significant characters started dying and bland one's with no development replaced them.also, the main plot got scratched and replaced by a worst one and got more convoluted and after all that the ending was dissapointing and abrupt.idk if that was the writer's intention or not but it was kinda bad, maybe his message was that war has no happy endings and that it's everlasting, and that everybody gets lost in the sauce but even then it could've been done better.
i still enjoyed it alot even though it doesn't sound like it i just thought it could've been much better,i also rlly appreciated the author's diaries at the end of each chapter and his little note, made me appreciate it more.☺

Hey everyone,i'm writing this review after watching this show for the 3rd time today because that's how mindblowing it is,first of all i think it's necessary to state that i,a straight male despise yaoi as much as the jews despise kanye west rn,but even with so much hatred for a genre, i was starstruck by this piece for,the gay agenda it depicts is only but a farse for the fools to boggle over. With the true meaning in this piece being the canvas of human greed, and how ultimately love prevails even in literally impossible situations but so much more as well.Starting the show we see this
...
naive, innocent boy who, somehow inherited this fancy academy(and i assume this academy is inherited for he is only but an innocent man who is yet,to see the world for what it truly is),just trying to live a peacefull school life, getting sexually harrased by this man who intends to make him his husband by force,as most of you probably presumed this was just a dumb gay rape scene ,but on the very contrary this shows how human kind from the very beggining is bound to seek pleasure and power from causing pain and humiliation onto others, because what is scarier to a man then being publicly humiliated losing the one thing the mankind needs the most?(pride),but as the villain is almost inserting his dick into the director(signifying corruption, for the director has yet to be corrupted by the filth of humanity)his boyfriend comes in like batman when arkham needs him the most and inserts his own dick down the villains ass, signifying that you never do to others what you do not wish for yourself. These attacks happens a couple more times on the show each one signifying human greed in a different light ,the second one being how the mc is gonna be"eaten"meaning that the enemy intends to eat his pride away and what is a prideless man but an empty shell fit for manipulation, and the third one being when this man who copies kintarou down to the tee,and the director fails to identify who the real one is,meaning that his love was not deep enough for, if you truly love somebody, the physical aspect is nothing but a carrier to what truly matters, the heart. After that kintarou gets kidnapped and this is where you really see the character development as kintarou ,the hero who saved the director countless times,is being now rubbed by another dick and can't do anything about it.Even i!an expert at human behaviour could have not seen this coming as to when this coward joke of a man only option is to cower and run,he faces his fears and consequently makes kintarou defeat his enemy with, surpsisingly enough ,only words stating that"even if i dick you down,it won't mean nothing,as there is no love" this ladies and gentleman, needs absolutely no explanation as it is the truest thing in life.LOVE ALLWAYS WILL PREVAIL.
Thank You.

i do not feel the necessity to talk about the visuals or the sound aspects of the anime because if you come to this piece of magnificent art thinking about such mondane things you truly have missed the whole point, this anime is about the many ways of thinking and perceiving this blue ball we call earth,i am going to give my 2 cents on the matter because this piece has truly touched me in ways i cannot beggin to explain, this ladies and gentleman this might just be what was in the briefcase of pulp fiction ,now i can understand john travolta plainly.
i personally believe that
...
the main objective of this anime is to give god a big Fuck you ,for all these characters do is stain god's greatest creation, with deceit, manipulation but never lies as that is the greatest sin,and this might be a reach but i can only assume they want a fair battle with god.this work of art reminds us to never judge a book by it's cover as all the ladies in the anime always make assumptions of the protagonist thinking of him as their own romantic fantasy ,but they ultimately fail to understand that he is only human and is not at fault for striving for his own path far from judgement, also the genius idea of not having the protagonists talk is a breath of fresh air as the writer obviously wanted us to fill those empty dialogues with our own life perspective.the protagonists also seem to sacrifice their own life, always living with this wheight of treating every woman with utmost respect and kindness, their flawless public facade masked private corruption, they become a shell of themselves, risk a life of eternal damnation and, assumingly eradicate all other memories off of their minds, all for a glimpse of the divine.
you can see that in every episode the male characters are already at the doorway of the female's heart but they sacrifice the possibility of an almost guaranteed relationship for a swift gratification, and although i am yet to ,in this fatous existence of mine comprehend such pretigeous behaveour i can at least respect it,because as socrates famously said "let us sacrifice our today so that our children can have a better tomorrow".
I self-admittedly will never come close to comprehend the true meaning of this magnum opus, but i can sleep sound at night knowing i have witnessed something beautifull, women's panties with a disgusted face.
