A total of 12 episodes. Almost 90% of its content is about 'meeting'. To be fair, I don't understand what is the point of war meeting if we knew Rimuru and his crew are just gonna win every battle tho lol. Happy ending all the way. Basically the story of the whole second season is about Rimuru vs Clayman all the way. As we knew from the 1st season, Clayman is our major antagonist and in this season, I expect him to get at least an epic fight, great ending for our antagonist since the 1st season. Guess what? it's not even that dramatic and ... mesmerizing. Few minutes fighting, the rest 15minutes we just forget it and do another meeting.

The music is somewhat decent but not that catchable. Art style, no major improvement, at least consistent since the first season. Of course our characters got some improvement but other than new 'op skill', I don't think there are any huge changes. I hope they put some action in the movie or maybe 3rd season to be honest since we barely see Rimuru fight in its 'full' power for a total of 48 episode already. I hope some part in the LN got some action kick in already. I mean, what's the point of getting bunch of overpower unique skill here and there without using it into practice?

Sorry guys. I tried to hold myself to not write a review but I can't hold myself much longer lol. It's not that I against u guys that gave this anime such a highscore like 8-9 but I just can't find the enjoyment of this anime I think. I will just write some few things about this anime, so I will just go straight to the main problem.

Nothing was bad from the art or the sound. For me the problem is from the character and the story. I've no problem with other character but I just kinda hate this one main character Riko. I mean, ... they tried to dive into such a dangerous place (very very dangerous place I should say?) and she just walking around the place carelessly but relying on Reg to protect her every single time. I bet she can't even reach the second layer if Reg didnt join her party. Glad that she good at cooking and her knowledge about the abyss kinda help Reg. I knew that Reg can't go down without her and Riko cant go down without him, but still Reg do most of the things.

Then the story. I don't know if I've a bad taste or what, but I can't find any enjoyment for the whole show. It finally got a little bit intense on eps 10-11 but then back to normal again. I've no problem with slow pacing story but I think the length didnt suit very well for a slow pacing anime. I know that all those long intro was necessary and we can't skip it but I think it will be better if they try to make at least 24eps instead of 13. Even if they're going to make a second season (bcuz the ending still hanging), still I prefer to finish it all into a single anime rather than making it into a 2nd season, bcuz this first season isnt very enjoyable FOR ME. Dont get me wrong. Its not a bad anime, but I kinda disagree with the hype "it was a very good anime" and gave it 9-10 score except u scored it high just bcuz everyone do it so u just wanna follow the hype lol. I didnt read the manga, maybe perhaps the manga was better than the anime, but this is my review about the anime not the manga.

Well I don't usually write reviews as well but I think I decided to make one because this anime took my interest.

First of all, let's talk about the first season a little bit. Honestly I should say that the first season is not that good lol or should I say it's one of the worst anime series Ive ever seen. The story, the sound, the character, almost all of them umm... nothing good? I think the only thing that actually good in that first seasone is um, art?? lol Well I dont want to talk about the first season that much in here since ... this review is about the second season, not the first one.

So about the second season, I must admit it that this second season they really made some improvement with the story lol. For the first 1-3 episodes it will be like meh but for the next 4-8 episodes the story got a little bit tense and I think it's not that bad. This second season was actually way better than the first ( well at least the first 8 episodes was good. I dont know if they will mess up with the ending or not lol) and for now I think this first 8 episodes deserves at least 7-8 scores. But seriously I think the only thing that they should change is about the music. There is actually no difference between the music in the first and this second season. I mean the ost or the bgm might be fit for some situation but its not that memorable. Its just like putting some random ost that fit with the situation and then thats it. Seriously everytime I watch this series, I skipped all the OP and the ED except for the first episode, just to hear it for the first time and then I skipped it in the next episode lol. For me is not that good enough that will makes everyone remember it in their mind or even looking for it on youtube lol. but out of it, this anime deserve a second chance for the story itself.

Before u watch this anime I just want to tell u that this is just a "SHORT" animation to entertain the game fans that kept asking the game to be animated. Yep this anime is from a game. So some people might actually dont know the whole plot unless they played the game. So here's the review for eps 1. The negative things are first the coreography isnt good like what people usually watch in other anime, second the plot wasnt explained perfectly because they skip some part. But as I said to u, u guys should consider that this anime was created by ... a GAME company that never had any experience making an anime before. The good things from this anime I should say that the art and the character were drawn well and also the animation is not bad for a company that never make an anime before. Altho the coreo is bad but is still enjoyable and I kinda enjoyed it a lot. And as to remind u, they never want to make an anime for this game but they DID IT because some fans kept begging for it so rather than complaining, why u dont try to enjoy it a little bit.
