Simply put, I'm always impressed by Japan for their way of producing content with a new spin.
This anime was absolutely phenomenal! There's something about this show I'd much rather watch than the boring North American drama TV shows we have here (no offense to those that enjoy them).
To me, the art was beautifully drawn and went well with the anime, the story kept me in awe and suspense for the next episode each week that passed by, and the actors portrayed their characters marvelously. I also believe this anime can be an inspiration to others that went through the same thing
