Both anime revolve around the concept that in order to beat your opponent, you need to get rid of their clothes. While the aftermath of that does differ, losing one's clothing will be a setback. Their color palettes also pop. In traditional anime sense, fight scenes are exaggerated and the final battles do feel similar in terms of atmosphere and stakes.

Sometimes, I blur the line between the two, they're that similar. However, they're not simply reskins of each other. While both being primarily mecha and harem anime, their settings are vastly different. Infinite Statos' more laid back atmosphere contrasts nicely to Hundred's more dystopian plot and vice versa. They're two sides of the same coin and show us two completely different takes on the same idea.

From masterful planning to quick thinking, each of the protagonists surprises those that ridiculed them by showing what they are truly capable of. Guns or swords, take your pick.

Both anime share similar protagonists in which they both hold unparalleled abilities compared to their peers as well as having cool and collected personalities. While coming off as cold and somewhat uncaring, they make sure to protect those that matter to them when it counts. The Irregular at Magic High School is more magic based and has its fair share of action. However, if you like more "realistic" settings (simply the lack of magic) and higher stakes, Fruits of Grisaia is a must watch if you liked The Irregular at Magic High School. While their plots are fairly different, they are quite reminiscent to one another. The largest distinguishing feature between the two is magic and the lack thereof, so pick your poison. Or both.
