Before we start, I just want to say that I liked Satoshi Kon's other works like Paprika and Perfect Blue. This one however left me confused and bored.
Paranoia agent starts off very promising with an intriguing story to it. But it slowly starts to get messy, confusing and flat out boring. The story doesn't add up, parts of it make no sense, scenes become way too long and overdrawn. The characters gain basically no development or progression whatsoever and are also forgettable as shit.

This manga is a genuine fucking shithole.
you know that one anime thats been sitting in your "plan to watch" for months now? Go watch that instead of reading this garbage. The main reason I hate this manga so much is because it gets a kick out of Junko Furuta and the horror that poor girl went through in 1988 she was kidnapped by a boy named Hiroshi and then was subject to 40 fucking days of torture so brutal (by Hiroshi and 3 others) im not even gonna say it before finally succumbing to the torture and passing away. Her killers also got pathetically short sentences and ...

I'm just gonna get to the point. This anime is absolutely boring.
The title is incredibly misleading and the only reason it's called "bunny girl senpai" is because of one scene in epsiode 1 where Mai Sakurajima wears a bunny suit for 15 seconds. Speaking of Mai shes the only semi-interesting character in this show. Every other character (especially Rio Futaba) are so boring, bland and unoriginal. I dropped this anime halfway through episode 12 because I just couldnt take it anymore, I was struggling to keep my fucking eyes open and im tired of holding on to false hope that this anime will get better ... |
