This is the show to watch if what you want to watch is either
A) To kill time
B) Some decent action scenes
C) Some pretty decent comedy
This is not a show where if you want to see a good plot/story, well rounded charters, individuality, surprising twist and turns, or get you so immersed in the show that you just start yelling at the computer screen.
-Plot-
The plot is annoyingly easy to predict it's been done over and over again. Not much to say really it's got potential just not well put out.
-Characters-
Well the characters are OK the spirit dogs are most colorful of any of them I

would say. Yoshi's cliche save the girl get stronger type but not well done. Tokine is like a bland background character trying to be a main character.
-Overall-
OK the show has it's up's and down's and alot of in between but all together it was a good show to kill time.

If you have just seen a totally awesome anime and looking for another one to watch don't watch Kekkaihi. I have done that I had just came from watching a great anime forget the title now but Kekkaishi was such a let down from that I ended up dropping it and only recently picking it back up from complete boredom. UNLESS YOU HAD JUST SEEN A SEMI-DECENT ANIME OR JUST PLAIN BORED THEN YOU SHOULD WATCH AND ONLY THEN!!!
