Okay, this is my first review, so I'm sorry if it's bad.
Yuru Camp is one of the first animes I watched. I can't say I had high hopes for it when I started, but it definitely surpassed my expectations.
Story: 7
Yuru Camp is centered around two girls, Rin Shima and Nadeshiko Kagamihara, and how they make friends. And, of course, their camping trips. It doesn't have some intricate, suspenseful storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat, but at least it has some reasonable character development and pretty hilarious moments.
Art: 10
The art is, in my opinion, one of the best things about this
...
anime. The character design is really well done, and the way the scenery is drawn is pretty amazing. I don't think there is any way I could rate the art in this anime lower than a 10.
Sound: 10
I just gotta say, I absolutely loved the music in this show. The intro music, at least. The voice acting was pretty excellent too, and you could really feel the characters' emotions. (Does that make sense? I think it does.)
Character: 9
I'm subtracting a point because the characters were kind of cliche, but... I still have to give it an 9. All the characters had pretty different personalities, which leads to a lot of funny scenes. I've mentioned above that I really love the character design.
Enjoyment: 9
The story is sort of repetitive, but honestly... I still really enjoyed watching this anime. It's very relaxing, which is something I really need after a stressful day.
Overall: 9
I don't know what to say here except... almost perfection. I strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to relax, loves the cute girls doing cute things genre, or enjoys the outdoors. Or a mix of all three.
This review was a mess. But I did my best! Be sure to mark as helpful if this was helpful at all to you!
