So honestly this might is kinda iffy for me in terms of where to place it and if it is good or not. I give it a 7 just because of the visuals and the audio. Besides that though, the story just tries to do to much with the trauma of a young child, romance, struggling family issues, fantasy, timelines, and the whole finding my way thing.

Honestly it probably would have been a better movie if the romance was either focused on more or if it was just straight cut out by making them childhood friends or something. Not only does it ... not make sense for the viewer but also doesn’t make sense within the story itself. How they fall in love is just beyond me. The movie also seemed to really try to play with the feelings of people create the portals and what not, and kind of made that relatable to the mc with her own trauma but this kind of seemed like a background topic for half the movie to the point I kind of forgot about it. The plot twist at the end was pretty good which gave it a point but at the end of the day wouldn’t rewatch this. Yes it’s visually and auditable pleasing, there are movies that do this and still have a good cohesive story. I’d recommend watching just to say you did, it’s not a hard watch for sure.
