Uh.... First off, the people who recommended it in all those lists.... Are you alright in your head? What made you think that it was worth putting up there....?

What's up with the silly high ratings? It deserves none of it.

Anyway, The writing sucks. The direction sucks. S*x is just there for the sake of making it look like "oh it's so dark and serious" and it fails horribly at it. The characters are ridiculous.

The setting sounds great you know, but the way it's all put down together is horrendous.

It's garbage.... No, honestly.

This is simply not worth the time at all. The stupidity is skyhigh.

This was quite good but I can't relate to the main character much and in fact I was kinda against her decisions at times. Shouldn't matter to others but honestly her personality irks me. She as a person is not to my liking in short.

Anyway, the movie dealt with some really good stuff although I felt that it could have been better one way or another.

Finally.... It's overrated. I mean just look at all those bullshit you get on the internet that makes it look like an unachievable pinnacle of psychological fiction or something along those lines.

It's an alright movie overall. If anything, I was ... kinda disappointed due to all the overrating.

I have heard of all sorts of reviews regarding oyasumi punpun since a long time.

I finally had the time to read it but damn did it not make me feel appalled. I don't know what's so great about it and couldn't stop myself from dropping it on chapter 2.

It feels like one of those wannabe psychological stuff that truly isn't to my liking. His parents are not doing so good, that's alright. But then there's the re**rded teacher and the weird expressions of all those characters including the students, the school staff, and the other side characters.

So.... I couldn't help but think... Is this story ... simply driven on such weird, seemingly shallow and mentally ill characters? Feels pretty shabby. I have seen better psychological stuff than this.

Anyway, I understand that I'm dropping extremely early but I can't really feel any drive to read it further. Felt like brain rot I must say.

I enjoyed the original and everything that it had to offer from the way it was conveyed, the art style, the voice acting, and to every bit of dialogue that it had.

Did you enjoy the original? Did you enjoy the stuff it had to offer with all it's set of characters? Yes? Then you are gonna love this one as well.

Ignore the other silly reviews. I felt my brain cells dying reading them.

Just go ahead and watch it. You'll enjoy it too.

The story is good. The dialogues are good. The characters are good. The art is good. And pretty much everything is good.
