...then you might like Henjin no Salad Bowl add

These are essentially the same show with different themes changed to create variety, instead of being a gang member the MC is a private detective. The same story of girl with powers comes to modern day Japan and teams up with MC, secondary girl is homeless and struggles similarly to Hinamatsuri. So far its not really a copy and paste but it takes a very similar path. Missing the gag comedic humor though.

People stuck in, well basically its a "game" of sorts. In Battle Game they have special powers and the MC is actually an MC you want to watch. Starting out on the first episode, it just reminded me so much of this show.

...then you might like Ajin add

-MCs become (or were already) something that is considered a threat to humanity. -MCs are decently strong after the story kicks off. -Both animes deal with death and gore. As well as mystical powers the inhuman have. -Both MCs go through torture that changes them. Differently in both animes but it creates the story. -Both Animes have a detective/squad/government after them trying to catch them.
