Ok I am going to start this by saying this is spoiler free, so if you are looking for reasons to watch this anime without having any problems, this is the place to be. Also hands down this is the best dystopian story I have seen, whether it be through movies or tv shows.
Story:10- First i would like to say i will not give you a synopsis (just bare bones of what you are getting yourself into) you can find that somewhere else. This show is very complicated and you are thrown a vast amount of information in one of the first few episodes. This
...
may make you believe that this is a strong example of a plot hole filled anime, but man you would be wrong. All the questions that you ask throughout this anime are answered by the end with mouth dropping results. Another thing about this plot is that it keeps you guessing, trying to predict what happens next but you wont find it. This show is anything but predictable and takes you on a long journey over 25 good episodes.
Characters:10- Ok so here i will not give you the entire cast of amazing characters, but i will give you the best of the main five you will meet in the beginning. Out of the main five the only ones that i found interesting was Saki who is the protagonist who you follow throughout the story. she is not generic but at the same time not very compelling. Next you have Satoru who seems to be the more bull headed and could be seen as the tactician. But where the characters really shine is with Squealer and Kiroumaru; i cant tell you why without spoiling, but they are the best part of the show when it comes to the character section.
Art and Animation:8- When it comes to this section i think that the art cant be judged because that is just your personal preference whether you enjoy it or not. For animation though i would say this was above average but definitely not the best i have seen. Their is good animation thoughout and i never saw a weak point in the series.
Enjoyment: In my opinion this show was a high 9 but after you get all the questions answered you cant help to give it a 10. you get a great resolution that brings you a great understanding on how they got to this Utopian society. This show will keep you guessing and you will be 100% happy you watched it. But in the end i am a true believer that nothing is perfect and the place that i believe this show lacks is its pacing. at some points it can be a little slow but that is the only negative that i believe this show has.
Pros:
-Story is compelling
-Fantastic ending
-All questions are answered(no plot holes)
-Great character and lore behind the universe.
Cons:
-alittle slow paced
Overall: Overall this show is a probably the best Utopian story out there that has fantastic characters, a story that is compelling, and a great resolve in the end to let you know how they got to where they are in the end. So basically what im saying is that i dont care who you are this is a must watch. So what are you still doing here go watch it.
Also thank you to everyone who took the time to read this review and have a great day!!

School Rumble is a romantic comedy that you should watch if you don't want to pay attention to any plot details or you just in it for a good laugh. Meaning school rumble is a show that has virtually no main plot and gets nowhere in 26 episodes.
STORY:7/10
Now i did say that there was not plot but that doesn't mean that the show does nothing but corny humor for the entire 26 episodes(even though its all it really needs to do for the genre). They introduce a variety of characters throughout and give them most at least some back story, character development, and even some
...
small story arcs for the larger supporting characters. The main focus was at first for Harima to confess his love to Tenma and for Tenma to confess her love to Karasuma but later on it changes to just watch as they fail at every attempt and laugh while they do it. The only real problem with the story is by the end nothing really has changed since the beginning, sure Tenma now finds Harima to be a nice guy but their relationship is no different. They don't even know they are interested in each other (that goes for every love relationship in this show)and that is what i find disheartening(not because it takes away from the show but because it keeps the show from being better than average in the story section). The story does everything it needs to do to get the job done but not much more to surpass and be a truly great anime.
CHARACTERS:9/10
If you can look past how good the comedy is in this show you will realize how strong the character cast is. First off Harima was one of the funniest and unique characters i have seen(best character in the show), honestly put him in the spot light and its guaranteed a good laugh. But all the characters as a whole is what truly makes this show special. Let me explain, in most high school shows they focus on maybe five characters and they are in a tight nit group with very similar interests. School Rumble on the other hand exceeds the amount of characters that you would expect and they are all from completely different stereotypical social cliches(There is the smart kids, the delinquent, the Marshall arts student, the big boobed bimbo, the dumb kid, the photographer, the pervert, the rich girl, the popular kid, the kid sister, and so many more) that are all pretty well defined, and they ARE ALL CONNECTED. For example how often do you see a show were the main character knows the school nurse on a personal basis. Its like this with almost every character interaction. the only people i found in the show that were not explained were a few people Harima worked for. I also believe that all the different character cliches clashing with one another is one of many elements that makes this anime so funny. They are also able to make all of the characters likable while making them all so different which is something to be proud of(this fact alone is why this show sticks out as one of the better anime out there).
ART/ANIMATION:9/10
The animation in this show was nothing to special at most times but it had its moments(Ex.bike chase in beginning of show,"Matrix" scene, and the Alien ship).
What was the best part in this department was the art specifically the facial expressions on Harima and Tenma when they reacts to specific moments throughout the show. They are able create most the most funny moments in this show using their facial expressions and lets be honest if this show makes you laugh it has served its purpose.
SOUND:8/10
The opening and ending songs for this show were both catchy and were good fits for the show itself. the atmospheric and suspenseful music were both pretty good as well but nothing in this section was supremely good in my opinion.
PROS:
-All characters are likable
-Most characters are connected and are from different school life cliches providing great dynamic moments
-art was effective in amplifying comedy and more
CONS:
-No real results, most things we know in the beginning are the same in the end
-Show thrives off a specific humor so its not enjoyable for all audiences
-Harimas unbelievable fails at love confession get annoying after a while
ENJOYMENT/OVERALL:8/10
My overall enjoyment for this show thrived off of the comedy itself and seeing all the different character personalities. The only things about this show that were not great was the lack of a strong story arc and there was no real change from the beginning of the show to the end.
This is a really Unique Romantic comedy that is TV-PG so all demographics can see it and has no fan service so its great for men and women to watch. But when it comes down to it the only thing this show actually needs to do is make you laugh and it does more than that. If this is your type of humor and you are looking for a show that you can just sit back and relax while watching than this is the show for you.
Thank you for anyone who took the time to read my review, and have a great day!!

Black Lagoon as a whole was pure entertainment and is one show that most viewers could keep on going back to for more. This is one show that after concluding its first and second season i could only think when will there be more.
STORY:8/10
Black Lagoon lacked any long term story arc and was basically a very long but strong intro to the series. By the end of the first season you get to know the entire lagoon squad, and all the other characters within the supporting cast along with some short but strong story arcs as the lagoon crew went threw their
...
jobs. Even though it was there was not really an overlying plot to the shows first season i don't really think that they needed one based on the content we were given within a 12 episode season.
CHARACTERS:9/10
The Characters in Black Lagoon were easily the shows strong point. There are not many characters within this show that i found dull or boring in any way. The characters of Black Lagoon were so great because we got some back story for almost every character. This helps us understand how they developed to where they are when the story begins. Whats really special about the characters within the show isn't the characters themselves but how they act together. The interaction really drives the entertainment and conflict within the show. The only problem was there was not much development.
ART/ANIMATION:8/10
The art within was quite good but the animation was where this section shined. This show is pretty much built around gun fights, conflict, and violence. Which means this show required a lot of animation and the show puts out, i could not find one dull moment were its quality even sank to average.
SOUND:9/10
The variety of sound effects presented in Black Lagoon were amazing. Anything from gun shots to explosions were high quality. I can also speak for the English dub which i found great. It was not great just because of the voice actors performance but also because they did not provide any censorship which allowed a lot of swearing and i mean a lot. Giving the characters this extra freedom provides a stronger form of expression that helps define the characters even further.
ENJOYMENT/OVERALL:9/10
This was a strong character driven show that had good back story, and great dubs. With only the lack of a strong story arc holding it back.

I find "Ghost in the Shell" just as a concept AMAZING. The combination of the this idea of what the world could be like in 2029 and the psychological game that this story plays as you move through the movie.
STORY:9/10
I'm not going to lie, but after reading the synopsis for this movie i felt that i would be a classic group of bad ass special forces soldiers that hunt down the villain "The Puppet Master". But it is so much more than that!! This movie goes further, they don't just set this movie in the future just to display some cool future military tech(but
...
i will say the future tech they do display is pretty bad ass). The entire plot revolves around that there are human cells in-planted into cybernetic bodies to give human consciousness to a robot (aka cyborgs). The stories main characters are in section 9, a military group that is mainly comprised of cyborgs. They use the cyborg bodies(shells) which are pushed at the audience to realize these cyborg bodies are not just tools but who the people are and its just one thing i am so glad the focused on in this movie. The question that this story also pushes but might be hard to catch for some viewers is "what makes us human". Around the middle of the movie Motoko talks to Batou and questions her own humanity after seeing Project 2501. This can later be resolved up towards the end of the movie when Motoko links with 2501 after which 2501 forcefully combines with Motokos ghost to create one being(This confirms their qualities for basic life because their combination produce a new generic life form). This ending was something that I found both fascinating and never saw coming. Overall this story had so much information crammed into it that you will really need to be paying attention and rewatch it several times to get everything the movie attempts to deliver. The only flaw i could point out in this story is that you will need more background knowledge than just the synopsis to enjoy it to its full potential.
ART/ANIMATION:10/10
The art in this show was easily an accomplishment. If you specifically pay attention to the landscapes and cyborg bodies there is an unbelievable amount of attention to detail which isn't just beautiful but also provides as a great atmospheric element to make you feel more immersed in the film and really reflects on how great the "Ghost in the Shell" universe is. Now the animation is one of the things that really shined for me when watching this film. The effects were outstanding and never had a dull moment. Great examples of the animation is when ever a bullet impacts a surface, when Mokoto apprehends the first criminal in the market, and the best of all when she pushes her cyborg body over the limit to stop the tank. Really no flaws in this department.
SOUND:9/10
The music in this movie provided as another great atmospheric element and gave the film some character. Also if you pay attention to the voice actors they didnt just do a great job the mixers also did great by providing well done echo effects and other changes to the voices to really make them one with the show.
CHARACTER:7/10
This is my lowest rated part of this anime and its kind of unfair in my opinion to even review it. The reason i say this is because the creators of this movie did an amazing job stuffing loads of quality content into a minuscule 83 minutes. But there is only so much you can do with 83 minutes and strong character development was not one of them. The only character that i was moderately attached to by the end of the movie was Mokoto but in my opinion that is still a achievement in my book because of everything else they movie had to offer.
ENJOYMENT/OVERALL:9/10
This was a movie that i could only describe by saying amazing. I am to this day pretty baffled about how the creators were able to fit so much quality into a small package for all to enjoy. There is so much content here and i have yet to see anything that really hits the sci-fi benchmark quite like this. The only thing that kept me from giving this movie a 10/10 was the simple fact that the movie was not long enough to do all the great things it did and provide good character development.
So i will end this review by saying if you haven't watch this yet i highly recommend it to anyone who likes anime or sci-fi genres but first try to get some background knowledge on the "Ghost in the Shell" universe. I would also recommend the other "Ghost in the Shell" works for they are also great productions in the same universe but not just to watch, these are must buys!!
As always thank you to everyone who took the time to read this review and have a good day.

First off i would like to start this review by saying that I found this movie very enjoyable. It was good just like the original series but possessed a different tone and threw in different elements that helped me see what was going on in the world a little deeper.
STORY 9/10:
I found the plot very interesting because they show you how the characters react to the events of Haruhi's disappearance(specifically Kyon). Within the original two seasons of the show Kyon is always complaining about all the ridiculous things that Haruhi gets him and the rest of the S.O.S Brigade into. But after she disappears and
...
he is in a world that he has no problems to complain about, he freaks out and investigates how he could change it back. They also go and show great development on Yuki when she has more emotions. Overall i found the plot pretty well driven and had a slightly slow pace, with an ending that doesn't really end. But i never found myself asking what happens next, it was a pretty satisfying show from beginning to end.
ART/ANIMATION:9
I have always liked the art style that was used for this series and the animation was very good. It was easily better than average with lots of great moments. I personally never found a moment where the animation was poor or even average, it was some of the best i have ever seen.
CHARACTERS:8
Even though i found Kyon and Yuki to be kind of generic and dull in the original series, i think they really stepped up in this movie. They both had very strong development. Kyon was able to go through an arc where he saw his life without the S.O.S Brigade and found that it wasnt hell for him he was actually having fun. Also for Yuki you actually got to see some emotion come out of her and see what she would act like if she were human. And lets not forget Haruhi that's all i have to say on her she is just a character that is great entertainment and really quite unique in my opinion. But now there were some generic characters like Itsuki and the classic moe character Mikuru so i gave this category an eight.
ENJOYMENT:9
Remember this is my opinion. I really enjoyed watching this movie, even though it was almost three hours, it flew by. I found the plot interesting and I really loved how we were able to see a side of this series that had a little more drama and character development.
OVERALL:9
With an average from all the other categories i give this a nine out of ten and a recommend anyone to watch this film when you have completed the original series, it is a MUST WATCH! Thank you for everyone who took the time to read my review and have a good day
