The first 6 episodes of this anime keep the viewer captivated and wanting more. The animation in this anime is truly beautiful and quality and I really enjoyed the singing scenes despite typically not liking those kinds of scenes from similar anime. The brown hair girl and blonde girl have interesting issues that are explored in compelling way, while the other two main girls' trama is basically they got bullied for being weird so it feels uninspired, but I do still like the characters despite that. Although the first half of the show is great and fun, the later half's arc does leave a sour

taste in my mouth for two reasons. One is that it's clear that too much drama was packed into a really tight timeframe, like in the middle of the blonde girl's problems for some reason they felt the need to have pink haired girl experience some personal drama. It felt misplaced and made me care less about all the plots since the brown haired girl was also going through stuff at the same time. There was too much going on. Two is that I thought the ending was stupid since blonde girl was obsessed with her mom the whole show and she overcomes that with her friends, but then at the very end her mom includes her name in the credits after the performance and blonde girl starts crying tears of joy. I guess I thought she overcame her mommy issues after her mom was absent and threw her daughter away for personal gain and now people are telling her mom, "Wow you really are kindhearted for putting her name in the credits." It showed that blonde girl's self worth is still directly tied to her mom's approval and that she didn't actually overcome her self worth issues like the viewer was led to believe. In conclusion, the show made me like the characters in the first half so I still overall enjoyed the show but there was a disappointing amount of lost potential in terms of the later storytelling.
