Golden Time seemed like a very promising series that changed the settings from the conventional slice-of-life, school anime series to a much more mature themes like the first steps to the adult life; college life, paying bills and debts, dealing with responsibilities and making some free time for friends, trying to survive by your own self.
The characters seemed to be very likeable, both in their design and personality, that makes them, somehow, very human, leading to some relatable situations (I may believe when you watch this, some of you might say "I remember this" or "I've been through this"...) filled with comedy, drama or ... some incredibly, but memorable, awkward moments.

If there's something that I have to complain it's about the "paranormal trope" around Banri Tada (the main character). I didn't find it so necessary to fill the plot with a "metaphor" about his terrible experience. Also, at some point of the series, some characters apparently"disappeared" from the events and their fates remain unknown.

About the storyline, I found it entertaining, but "unbalanced", because there is some parts of the story that went so fast or gave them too short time on screen, these "details" are worthy to explore it further to understand some situations that could've made it more interesting or compelling than before.

For me, this anime series had a lot of potential, because it had the chance to show how the characters deal with a more adult's world exploring what is love, friendship, the college and the work life and their own personal issues. But it becomes a disappointing, unfulfilling promise that throws away any possibility to rescue it from its own terrible mistakes.

New Game! may seem similar to Shirobako at first; a series that shows how videogames are made, with all the processes and the perks they should deal every day, but it's more focused on the daily lives of their main characters, like Aoba Suzukaze (with her close friend Nene Sakura, they look and act like they were elementary school girls) and the rest of the Eagle Jump team.

Definitely, I enjoyed all the characters' personalities and how they interacted with each other, even with their superiors. Characters and enviroments were greatly designed to the cute and sweet theme.

Something that I found pointless for the whole ... series it's the presence of ecchi fanservice elements that doesn't seem so necessary for the plot or even for any jokes or fun situations. The whole series could be better without showing any panties' scenes.

Personally, the series could've been a little longer to show more background story about the characters, especially the rest of the Aoba's teammates.

The episodes were basically fun and entertaining.
