lovely watch so far! no complains
though two points that I noticed
one: his solutions are lovely and idealistic with a "everyone has happy ending" which is soothing, though to be fair the little (non-existent) amount of resentments I find left in previous victims and current winners is a little too unrealistic and a tad too hard to believe. but also, it is fiction and that is fine
two: the character designs before their 'evolution' are so good and diverse. only to turn more 'human' in their appearance which is a real shame! I really loved the ogres and Lizardmans before their evolutions... too bad.
it just
...
feels like such missed oppurtuniities for creative and diverse character designs.. :'(
Other than that, so far ( ep 16) everything is lovely!

S1 was a heartwrenching beauty
I am glad that S2 doesn't hurt as much
I understand why the rest here think it took a plunge downhill, but I think the course of the show is both logical and needed.
So in S1 we and Fushi are new to the whole cycle of meeting and departing with people therefore it hurts every single time.
In S2 both we and Fushi have gotten used to it, and it still hurts, but now it is less so due to the sheer amount of experience and the surrendering that that is what a mortal's life is like.
And I am
...
so glad that S2 takes a whole different genre to the show. If S1 was a slice-of-life, then S2 is a Historical War genre. Never mind the transition was made and it makes sense, taking into account how history, religions and legends are created.
- on the other hand, if we stuck to the S1 pattern I would have likely been too in pain to click on the next ep.
So in short, the show is great, and people are being too perfectionists. Enjoy the second season of Fushi!

I do not know anything of the manga yet, nor the light novel. I have not watched many other isekai anime (I read tons of manhwa, so I know how they more or less all have the same basic starting point/ concept and then each diverges to become its own show) So I do not have anything to compare it with. and as such I say this on the anime itself:
In terms of the protagonist, I love it.
everything from his simple soft design to his matching soft personality. For me most of these shows are all about the main character, can I stomach them
...
or am I gonna hate them or bored by them so much I can not even finish the first episode and give the story or the rest of the cast a chance?
on that front, Will was an easy win, and I loved him.
+ the fact that it's an isekai without boobs in my face, made it appealing enough to give this genre a try.
Two, the story / messages /ideology the show preaches, can be seen as too on the nose, upfront with them at points, spelling it out for you. But that's not a bad way to go about it. I like it, it's not too convoluted, and it doesn't go out of it's way to make things for epic or dramatic than they need. and for that kudos.
It is simple, the way adventure stories used to be back in the day, with conflict and solution at the end of each episode, and that is great.
It is a nice relaxing show
Three. the animation... So the first episode is great! the way they always are, and then you can see the obvious drop in budget/refinement... but also, we've been reading about the harsh environment animators live in, and thus, I cannot seem to find it in myself to diss on it or stop watching it just because it is not a cinematic experience. I do honestly hope that the cutting corners that can sometimes be so obviously seen had made the animators / in-between frame illustrators' lives somewhat easier. and still, put food on their table without too much despair.
in terms of getting the story and events across, it did it efficiently without a frame of ugliness, and for that I am thankful. Perhaps there was crudeness here and there, but nothing that deterred me from enjoying the characters and story.
It may not be obvious, but there is something soft and appealing hat they did with their color palate that made it a joy to watch.
on that note, I can easily see how the manga will be pretty to read, and I'm looking forward to picking it up after I finish with the anime.
I did take a quick look, and I got to say, I really love the redisgn on Will they did in the anime, the redhead gold eyes longer hair, may not be unique causeof man this is anime, but I do prefer it on the brunette red eyes. It really gave a saint, soft wise young man appeal added to him. but then again, the manga is 99% black and white, I probably wouldn't notice the difference.
The sound track matches the show's vibe, and that ending is going on loop for the foreseeable future.
and yes I am being petty by rating this a 9, just because I can see from a mile away how people can be too harsh on it.

So, I'm the first one here? just came here straight after binging the show...
A couple of things come to mind as I watched it
One:
I know it's not new, but the whole idea of having the show thrown in one bulk doesn't excite me... in fact, I believe it undermines the show and kills its shot at being hyped up.
Of course, I'm all in for binging.. but there is a psychological factor at just knowing that a show is being updated throughout the past 13 weeks that makes me hyped and excited before I sit down at whatever week to binge through however many
...
episodes are available by then
On the other hand, I was quite surprised to find that all 13 episodes were already up. it kind of felt as though my most anticipated show for the past God knows how many years was up and running and done for ages under some obscure bridge and no one told me. Or as if they Spat it in my face...
similar to stalking through the news of a celebrity and waiting for them to show up in your city only to find out later that you missed them.
But that's my personal vendetta against one bulk update
Two: T
The series didn't age a single day since season 1... gives the impression that it was made immediately after Tiger & Bunny which was back in 2011, more than 10- 11 years back now
In a sense, season1 was already amazing so it's understandable that you wouldn't want to change something good... but also ... It IS 2022? I wouldn't be wrong to think we anticipated some form of upgrade..?
Again I loved season 1, not gonna lie and claim that it has any specific aspect of it on top of any other show this season or this year. perhaps what was mind-blowing in 2011 is just the average now
But I'm a simple person
I like Tiger & Bunny for the core of what it is.
The Characters, the world-building, the funky system; it was the first to introduce Superhero as entertainers Before MHA and before One punch man So excuse me for being perhaps biased
But I love it
it's a classic
and we got more of the classic
without changing anything in it
for better or worse, at the very least nothing was downgraded
Therefore, I am happy with the product
and looking forward to the rest of the season.
Oh yeah.. about the actual season..hmm... Everything gets a 'Not bad' rating from me
the character development - more of side characters than Tiger & Barnaby -is understandable since we had a full season for those two- in the first half of the 13 eps were entertaining enough and all the characters are lovable
And the villains were honestly adorable and also quite entertaining.
Looking forward to how this continues
Review overall: Entertaining!

To start with putting you in perspective, I happened to come from the side of the world that grew up with this and many other WMT shows throughout their childhood, so first and foremost, I am biased with nostalgia. Ironically my mother also grew up with the 1977 version throughout her childhood,
That aside, going into this show with no background info on the source material is perhaps the best way to do it, just like I did. The Story is simple, a child is searching for their mother and the hardships of reality.
someone else has gone into details about what circumstance the
...
show had to go through while under production, so I won't bother with commenting on that. I'll just say what I find most enjoyable.
In short, it's a humbling experience for all children and humans alike.
it depicts children in all sorts of real-world hardships, that fortunately I saw none of it, but would know a one or two irl that had something in common. WMT has a way of raising you to be mindful of everyone's hardships - even your parents. it's not an exaggeration that they shaped the human I am today. and I am ever thankful that I was fortunate enough to be raised by these lovely people.
Remi is an easy watch, Once you set off on to the journey, it becomes episodic stories, easy to skip ahead or miss or watch background. Therefore the watch / and rewatch is never stressful, you can easily cherry-pick your episodes, and you won't lose much contexts - except for the occasional important ones.
i myself have rewatched Gaspard arc over and over and over again. - okay maybe I'm a sucker for little Mattia, can you blame me? -
The Music is otherworldly - and while your at it, the Arabic dub opening and Mother song are worth a listen even if you can't understand them- the Jap Op and ED are just the most beautiful things I've ever heard. The whole show's ost is just beautiful, I get the urge to just put the whole show in the background as I work just for its sounds.
and One of the little blessings that I didn't notice how much it irked me until I saw how Remi did it well, is how the ending of an episode blends seamlessly into the ending, no jarring sudden shift in tones, no Sad moment only to end with a happy ending. and I always find it tasteful how they'd let the music start playing as part of the ost and then when the moment is right the lyrics pick up from whatever point the music is on... it's a little thing, and Remi isn't the only show that does it, but it's the accumulation of the little things that make things amazing.
And that's my verdict; Remi, Nobody's Girl, is a masterpiece in the little things that it DOES well.
Perhaps the story is repeated and the 1977 ver does it better, perhaps the art is average ( but still beautiful in my opinion), perhaps the characters have room of improvement in comparison ( and yes i agree the villains are understandably not given room to be better-written characters), But All in all, it's enjoyable enough for me to come back to it frequently even after 23 years to enjoy it. and that's what matters to me.

Bokurano Anime Review:
TOP Advice to best enjoy this :
1)GO BLIND!!!!! you wont regret it !!!
2)WATCH IT TILL THE VERY END!!! or else you haven't watched Bokurano
3)DONT JUDGE !!! the art may be too realistic or turn off some but seriously give it a shot!
4)THIS IS NO TYPICAL MECHA ACTION ANIME! so don't go in expecting that
5) BE PREPARED TO THINK!!! or else you loose half the fun
6)BE PATIENT , & WATCH EP 1 TILL THE END !! though i personally don't think you'll be in need of too much patience afterwards ,
...
it'll hook you by the end of first episode.
Personally i started the show due to a youtuber's recommendation, and the man mentioned absolutely nothing about the plot , and i think it was the right thing to do,
and thus i'll start my review from why i liked it, over the plot description.
-Charming Points / Reasons i Enjoyed it:
Going in Blind. I had my mind open for ANYTHING, i didn't want to read anything about it , didn't want to form any predication to the plot , no expectation so i don't get disappointed ( ive been suffering from watching good anime recently ) And ... I was overjoyed by my decision!
The show got all those plot that you don't expect, at every other point in the story you think you've got it figured out , and that "Oh, i bet this that this is gonna happen next " and then you might be wrong you might be right , but most likely there is gonna be that "one little thing" you didn't take into consideration even though it was more or else there from the very beginning.
It's nothing so "OMG where the heck did THAT come from ?????? did they just make it up ?"
but more "Oh ... Oh , Ooooooooh , makes sense!!! :) .... but wait ... Nooooooo does that mean ...?" and it continues like that , until the very last episode.
Honestly as other has said about it, its true worth in watching it ALL the way to the VERY END (something i tend to say about Shinsekai Yori, its true masterpiece by watching it till the very last 5 min of the show, only then do you say you watched those two and seen their true meat)
-"THE STORY" :
Going blind is your best option
saying anything about the very first episode will be spoilers of its own
though please do give the boring-ish first 15 min a chance , it's worth it
This is one Thought provoking anime, nothing too complicated ( ie Serial Lain ) by the end of the show you'll understand what they want you to , and you'll still have space to think for your own of other things too.
It may be labeled under the Mecha genre, but .. its not Gundam or Code Geass in that sense
there is barely any form of action. so don't go in expecting that.
-"CHARACTERS"
15 may be alot of characters, but trust me, you wont feel the burden. It's well written in that you can get to know (almost) All of them and feel like any of them are cardboard cut stereotypical chara, even though the first episode may fool you into thinking that.
-"ART":
is on the realistic spectrum of anime. is it bad? no i think it did the atmosphere and story justice
the mecha where as realistic as any mecha could look in the real world, their movement too
weird but good weird.. or at least the " you get used to it" weird
-"Sound"
Surprisingly i watched the Opening of EVERY episode, and the second Ending as well. I'm the type of person that skips that and some to get straight to the episode.. so that ought to say something right ?
The lyrics are all TRUE to the story though , so at least read the lyrics, just as the others here in the review section mentioned. OST though ,... nothing really struck out in my mind, and i just got off the last episode.. so i don't know what to say about that.
-"Enjoyment"
i think the fact I'm rating it so high is proof enough of how much i loved it
WARNING:
Prepare tissues
Its a tad bit too heavy to watch ALL in one setting, but at the same time you can't give too much spacing between the eps, so Pace it well. You might want to watch a comedy episode of some other anime in between ^_^
-"OverALL"
THIS NEEDS TO BE WATCHED!!!!! especially for those out there like me who are running out of anime to watch and take seriously.
PS:
This is my VERY first review , i hope it was well written. Thank you
